First time ever going to a Wendy's and it was literally a horrible experience. they do not know the meaning of good customer service.
I went through the drive thru and was greeted, placed my order and 5 minutes later arrived at the window to complete payment. I hand over my card and the cashier tells me my total is $8, I ask why is my total $8 when I ordered a regular hamburger. He starts saying I ordered a combo meal, I repeat I didn't order that I ordered ONE HAMBURGER. He continues to tell me I did not order one hamburger I ordered a combo. I'm literally just sitting there thinking what the hell? Why can't he just refund me my $8 and I'll purchase the one hamburger I asked for in the first place. While I'm sitting there at the window I hear him yelling inside telling someone in charge that he doesn't know what I'm talking about and how I ordered this combo meal. They both give me a dirty look and the person in charge comes to the window and tells me I ordered a combo meal, I'm like no I didn't?!?! Seriously beyond fed up I just said forget this refund me my money so I can get out of here.
If a customer says they didn't order something don't keep telling them they did 😑 that's insane, clearly your wrong. The guy could have simply been like " My mistake I charged you for a combo, I can refund you the amount and then charge you for the item you wanted. Sorry for the confusion." Read moreI have been coming to this Wendy's for years because you have one of the nicest guys working your drive thru and he's the best always in a great mood no matter what and he puts me in a better mood everyday I come.
However, unfortunately he was not working today and I had to deal with Jennifer on the ticket who asked me to pull forward and a younger gentleman with curly hair who got angry about me not wanting to wait in your Parking lot for my order because it was going to take time. He refused them both and then he got mad about it so I told him I would wait but it would be the LAST TIME I COME HERE,. His response was "good! I don't care!" And there is the problem. I have waited long times in this drive thru before and never been asked to wait. Your company tracks the speed of each order by the window being cleared so by driving away, the clock resets and you look like they handled my order in a good time. I wanted 14 minutes in my car in your parking lot and your team wasn't even busy, the inside was not busy either, no excuse.
What they are doing is manipulating the data so they look fast, if this Wendy's is too overwhelmed by 2 cars I will be taking my business elsewhere.
