I went to grab lunch with my mom after her doctors appointment. When we walked in it was pretty empty.. we placed our order and went to go sit outside after 15 mins I walked back in and saw it got really busy and our food wasn’t ready so I gave them more time. Came back 5 mins later and I noticed people were getting their food before us. I asked what was going on they said they were waiting for the second plate. Understood.. so I’m waiting and started to get angsty. What bothered me the most was there was a gentleman out of uniform behind the counter barking orders while the cooks/cashiers were trying to catch back up. (From what I heard it looks like another customer grabbed my food by accident so they had to remake our plates) stuff happens I get it.. I’m annoyed but I get it… after a few more minutes I ask again where are food was and the lady (she had a trainer shirt on which was phenomenal by the way) apologized and said it was almost ready. As I’m talking to her the guy that’s out of uniform is recording and saying “this customer is upset! What are you going to do about it!?” I asked him to stop recording me so he puts his phone down and walks away.
Again the staff was very apologetic and graceful trying to get our food done while managing the rush.
I don’t know who the gentlemen recording and adding additional stress to the staff was but if he was upper management that is not the way you get ANYTHING done. As somebody that works in customer service the number one rule is to NEVER BERATE your team in front of customers.. either help or get out the way.
Shout out to the staff for still keeping their cool and grace under stressful...
Read moreUsually order a half chicken. Ordered a Shawerma wrap instead. Should have gotten the chicken. What an absolute ripoff. Don't get me wrong, the tri tip is good. The issue was that there was so little of it on the sandwich. Looked nothing like the picture. I get it. You can't make everything look like the picture and this would have been excusable if there was actually a notable amount of meat on there. Not at all. There was SO much tahini sauce and tomato that it was almost obnoxious to eat. I honestly think that the person who prepared this sandwich, put less than the required portion. Because paying $7.95 plus applicable tax for a sandwich that I was able to eat in 4-5 normal sized bites, is far too expensive. Especially when it lacked the most notable item on it. I kid you not. It was basically unreasonable amounts of tahini with little flakes of tri tip swimming around in it. I get food costs are rising. But if it is cost prohibitive to make something to the standard described, just stop carrying it. Don't make people pay ridiculous prices for something that isn't adequately there. Its a shame because what I DID taste, was really good. I'd gladly pay a little more to have a more...
Read moreIf you are unfamiliar with this type quizine, I recommend not wasting your time here. Somebody actually brought me here and said this place was good and picked up the tab, since it was his dime, I will be polite and speak my mind here instead of to him, a free meal is a free meal, unless you come here. The chicken was nothing spectacular, and the side or accompaning orders, well let's say they are best left outside or off the tray entirely, really to try the meatballs or whatever they were, but I ordered pricewise as to the person who brought me here. Not my fanfare. As for bang for buck, not here! Didn't feel like I got valves worth, mind you it was free, Was still hungry, taste wasn't what I was hoping for, as far as chicken meal, and I'm a Coke drinker, which was not offered, the other soda reigns here! I am a die hard, Coke drinker! I do not call the other stuff by its by name, or drink it! So Coke drinkers we are not accommodated here! I will never come back again, or bring anyone here. If this is how the food is in the Middle East, I won't want to go there either, and that's too far...
