My FIRST and LAST time here. Maybe it's just me and I got there in a wrong time, but strap in and read on. Besides that the place wasn't really packed and had to wait just to sit one person down, most of the empty tables were not cleaned and finally I get a nice place by the window. Because I noticed that only 2 person crew was so busy, for a minute I suspected that one of them is also running the kitchen, but corrected myself after a while, when I noticed they have more people working there. Eventually one of the original 2 people got my order that I long time ago had chosen. Was kind of hungry but ordered coffee, sirloin steak(WELL DONE) with hashbrown as a side, omelette that came with hashbrown and a pair of pancakes topped with strawberries. 1). First came the coffee as usual. Right before getting a sip, I almost landed my lips on left over lipstick that was left from a previous drinker and wasn't washed off the cup.(I'm a male and do not use lipstick) 2). Sugar was gone from the table basket and only substitutes were available. Which I don't like to use because of the aftertaste they leave. 3). My expensive and good looking steak arrived. I cut off a piece, put in my mouth and notices the flavorlessness of the meat that wasn't flavored by anything and not fully cooked. Plus it was slightly chewy. "I should have asked for a steak sauce", I thought to myself. After cutting a second piece and putting that in my mouth, I noticed a pink colored juice extracting from the steak. I made a deeper cut and noticed that my WELL DONE steak is not cooked on the inside at all. After attempting to chew up the second piece, I wasn't able to make it any smaller by grinding my teeth over it, I had to spit it out and move on from this steak. 4). Flies made it difficult to eat my food because I constantly had to get them off my food. 5). However the hashbrown that came with a steak was well done to the point that it turned dark brown, almost black color and very crisp. 6). Omelette and the hashbrown that came with it were okay and that is what I had to enjoy as my breakfast. 7). Pancakes with a few strawberries on top also were not bad topped with a syrup.
Personally, I will never visit this...
Read moreThis is the worst Dennys I've been to. It was about 130 AM on a sunday (or monday technically) and there wasn't really anyone in the place, but it took 20 minutes to sit my family of 4 down. Then when came to order, the waitress took mines and my daughters order down, stepped away really quick and never came back to take my husbands order. We waited about 5-7 minutes thinking she was gonna come back b4 we called her to tell her she never took his order. Then after getting our food, they forgot the hard boiled egg that comes with my salad. I mentioned this and she says they don't have any eggs, but she could put a scrambled egg on it if I'd like. No thanks, I didnt want a hot oiled egg on my salad. They also forgot the frosting and sprinkles that goes on my kids bday pancakes. When she came back she didn't give her the frosting, but whip cream with some sprinkles in it. It was half assed. During our meal we NEVER saw our waitress again! Maybe 40 minutes had gone by and we were ready to leave and pay, but we wanted to take our left overs, she never came out! By this time we were the only customers in the restaurant, literally, there was absolutely no one else in the building except us, one worker and the cooks. Why didn't anyone come to see if we needed refills or to go trays or give us our bill?? We had to bug the 1 guy there to pay. Worst...
Read moreTo be completely fair, This was at 8 O'clock on a Friday night and multiple employees, including the chef was in training... We got there around 7 and waited 20 minutes just to place our drink orders and waited almost 40 to get our food. The worst and weirdest part was that our first waitress clocked out after taking our drink order and left us waiting for 5 or 10 minutes to have a new waitress finally take our real order. Once we got our food and finished it was another long wait to get a check which eventually lead to us just paying at the front counter and leaving. I'll also note that multiple other people had the same experience 2 of which left due to waiting for so long and leaving cash for their drinks on the counter. Once again, to be fair, I'm willing to bet that if you arrived at a usual breakfast time on a day where the chef wasnt training everything would have been as expected. The food was what to expect (other than that my banana chocolate chip pancakes were missing the bananas). Hopefully the time I came was just a bad day to be there and doesn't represent what this specific restaurant...
