Ok people. I usually don’t do bad reviews other than just star ratings but this had to be an exception.
This place was not good. I had hoped that the few “bad” reviews were wrong but NOPE. I wasted $66 bucks with a $10 tip for terrible food. IT WAS A PICK UP ORDER! As you can see from the pictures, what was supposed to be fried rice was only steamed rice with boiled chicken and little bits of egg on top. Not fried rice at all. The Mongolian beef was the same. Boiled with sauce placed on top. The chow main was dense and tasted like wet flour. Don’t get me started on the orange chicken. The only thing that was edible was the obviously store bought veggie egg rolls.
People were nice but that’s not enough to get me to even look in this place’s direction again. For the amount I paid that I will now lose because I wouldn’t feed this to any living thing, pisses me off.
Absolutely terrible, please don’t waste your money like I did. I’m seriously wondering if the good reviews are from people who are friends or their high as hell, lost their taste buds, possibly blind or maybe all of the above. Maybe it’s different food if you eat there but I highly doubt it. I feel bad sounding mean but If it saves someone else from experiencing what we did then so be it. It’s truly...
Read moreTeriyaki House! Being away from the wide array of bay area eateries I'm used to, Teriyaki House in Los Banos makes me feel right at home. They serve traditional Chinese food, Sushi, fusion dishes, and Singapore style food. Since opening, I believe the restaurant has had 3 owners, and I've had the pleasure of knowing all three of them. The food is great, and I believe they've just added pho, udon, and some other noodle soup choices. I am a big fan of jalapeno beef, and the shrimp & pineapple fried rice. The staff is always courteous, and friendly. I appreciate them very much. Also, the Singapore friend rice is one of my absolute favorites. I order it medium spicy.. If you don't consume pork, ask them to substitute it with...
Read moreThe staff were very friendly, but the food left much to be desired. My husband got the chow mein, teriyaki chicken, and vegetable tempura. Everything was very bland and the chicken was so small it couldn't have even been a full piece of chicken. I got the garlic chicken, fried rice and pot stickers. The garlic chicken and pot stickers were very tasty, but much like the chow mein, the fried rice didnt have much flavor and only tasted good after I added a bunch of sauces to it. Over all I'm not super impressed with this place. It had great reviews but I was definitely expecting...
