Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Los Banos

Our family dining experience was made supremely amazing by Jennifer, our attentive server. As a family of five, accompanied by a baby, our order was admittedly complex. Yet, Jennifer exhibited remarkable patience and meticulousness, double-checking every aspect of our order to prevent any potential inaccuracies. The diligence she showed was far beyond what I've experienced at other pizzerias, where my usual order often gets mixed up.

My preferred choice is a medium combination pizza, customized with the addition of red onions, spinach, and tomatoes, but without mushrooms on the sauce side, and half of it without sauce but with mushrooms. As someone with food sensitivity, mushrooms are a strict no for me, and despite my mother's willingness to pick them off, I appreciate when my order is accurate. Jennifer ensured this by not just double-checking, but triple-checking our order, even going as far as to include it on my receipt as a guarantee.

Throughout our stay, from 6:45 pm to 9 pm, Jennifer was a whirlwind of efficiency; taking orders, waiting tables, cleaning, and regularly checking in on us to ensure we were satisfied with everything. She was essentially a one-woman army, handling tasks that would typically be shared between three people, never once neglecting her duties. Even when customers, unprepared with their orders, held up the line, Jennifer remained patient and friendly, making the wait far more bearable.

Despite the restaurant being bustling with three simultaneous birthday parties, dozens of excited children, and the accompanying cacophony of laughter from their parents, Jennifer managed to stay on top of everything. Amidst the chaos and noise, she stood out as an amazing team leader, exceeding all expectations with her stellar work ethic. The constant radiance of her smile was a testament to her positive attitude and commitment to excellent service.

In recognition of Jennifer's hard work and dedication, I sincerely hope that consideration will be given to increasing her pay (or the very least an upgraded position). I seriously cannot believe how bad customer service was tonight. I put an order in three hours before I needed it delivered for it only arrive 40 minutes late and then completely cold and every time I called you all to find out where the order was I kept getting told to 10 minutes 10 minutes more. Give it another 10 minutes. By the time it arrived I had hungry children and a family waiting for food. It was ice cold so at that point we're just microwaving our food and when I called to get a refund the manager would rather haggle instead of excepting responsibility that the order was messed up tonight and that bad customer service was done. In the end we ended up just getting replacement food sent to us because the manager didn't want to just give a refund and accept responsibility. But because we had things we had to do that food is now going to sit and get cold before anyone else can eat it which will be another hour later or whenever we get time. That is why the order was put in early we had things to do but instead we had to sit there and wait for you all to get your stuff together. Horrible customer service tonight. I am so disappointed in a place that we have been using for so long. I was offered 25% off instead of getting my money back for poor quality cold food that by your employees own admission was ready at 5:25 but we did not receive...

I have continued to return to Round Table, and I wanted to specifically give a shout out to Jennifer! She is always super friendly and happy to see my sister and I when we come in. She always makes recommendations to ensure we are getting the best value for our money spent, and she follows up during our visit as well to ensure we are having a good dining experience. Thank you Jennifer for taking good care of us! Also a shout out to Vic who is often behind the scenes baking our pizza. He knows I like the cheese a little crispy on top, and he always comes through! I’m fairly new to the area here in Los Baños, and last night was my second visit to the Round Table in town. Round Table is always delicious, and last night didn’t disappoint! Pizza was cooked just perfectly, and there was plenty of seating available. The staff was super friendly, specifically Gloria and Justine. They both helped us with our order, and made some good suggestions on a half n half pizza (part veggie and part non-veggie). Each came by and checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our food.
