Like a lotta the others that have responded with bad reviews...(get it??!!) I went to blakes on a Saturday morning, ordered by phone, due to the fact that the line was taking sooooo long. I ordered, went to the line that said online orders, thinking that I was in the right place. The young lady came put 4-5 times to ask my name and number, after waiting for 45 minutes, I told the young lady that it had been 45 minutes & what seemed to be the problem?? Another woman came out, with a red apron on & by thar time, I just wanted my money back & wanted to ho somewhere where they would hive me some food, so I told her, I would just like my money back & she can deduct the soda, from the total. She stood there are argued with me, to the point I just drove off, because she wouldn't refund my money. As I was pulling away, she yelled tome, that I was in the wrong lane!! I placed a complaint, online & got no answer, so I wrote a letter to the ceo of the company...didn't hear anything for weeks, then I heard from the accountant, asking me how much did I spend & did I pay cash. No sorry, no kiss my foot!! A week or 2 after that...I hear from the receptionist & she apologizes!! I told her i was not her fault, but this is the worst Blake's I've been to, in New Mexico, as I'm a native. Long story short!! I got a $10 gift card in the mail, but I still refuse to go to this Blake's, I'll drive to bosque farms, they might be slow, but at least...
Read moreOrdered and paid for food online at 11:46; was given a pick up time of 12:17. I arrived at the restaurant to pick up my food, girl said it would be out soon & to listen for my name. The intercom announcer was muffled, unclear and had a very low tone. As we waited for our food an upset customer was told he would have to wait an additional 25 minutes after already waiting for 30 minutes. Several customers were waiting outside longer than us. After a whole hour of waiting and still not receiving the food, I finally asked for a refund. The girl assisting was apologetic and understanding but didn’t know how to process a refund. She asked another employee for assistance but she also did not know. Finally a third team member pressed a button on the touch screen & said the refund would process in 24 hours. I asked for a receipt for the refund and they stated they don’t give those. What?! Not an email confirmation or anything? Nope. Now I’m supposed to check my account in 24 hours in hopes they were atleast able to properly refund an order. Sad plus pitiful. This place is joke.
4/2/21* update: I never got my refund. Called & was transferred to the corporate “accounting & records” department where the line continuously rang for 15 minutes straight with no answer...
Read moreUpdate Well the place is clean now but the service hasn't gotten any better. We went last night and it took him 5 minutes to even acknowledge that we were there. They were out of green Chile it took him 25 minutes to make three burgers. It's just not the same blakes that we become accustomed to. They also have the Google reviews playing on the screen on the menu screen, which I think is funny because they're all about their burritos and nothing about their service. I wish somebody would look into this because I really do Love Blake's but this location has just gotten terrible.
Update Since the new place was opened, it's not the same. Everything, with the exception of the breakfast burrito (an all day option now), is smaller portions and more expensive. The floors were dirty and looked very dingy for such a new restaurant. Service has not improved but has worsened. It might as well be a McDonald's or Burger King with the exception of the breakfast burrito. Sad to see it go the way of the McD and Bk. It's truly just blah now.
