Tic Toc Ice Cream — Restaurant in Loudon

My family and I absolutely love tic toc!! I'm not a sweet eater but I absolutely love each of the ice cream flavors I've had!! speaking of flavors they have quite a few to offer, including my absolute favorite flavor, coffee!! The staff that work there have been nothing but incredibly kind and quick at their job!! I've been in tic toc multiple times over the years and no matter how long the line is when we go in, the wait is never long!! We truly enjoy going to tic toc!! We will go to Knoxville to eat (as there's not many food choices in Loudon), and instead of ordering dessert at the restaurant we had dinner at, my kids and I will gladly decline dessert and instead go to tic toc!! They have some seating inside and a couple outside, but my favorite spot is across the street from tic toc, at the little fountain that has some seating, you just have to be very careful with small children who like to take off and run, as the fountain is surrounded by roads!! 10 year patron - first review. 5 stars. This is the best of the best in eastern TN. You cannot find better home made ice cream within hundreds of miles of downtown Loudon, TN. My favorite is their super chocolate “Blackout”. Over the years, the staff is always pleasant and promptly attentive. The old fashion ice cream parlor style is a rare breed in corporate America and adds significantly to your visit. On a pleasant day, step outside to the downtown Loudon fountain and enjoy the scenery as the town rebuilds and polishes the rich history of this area. This shop was recognized by Southern Living magazine in 2004 and still carries the southern charm and ice cream “crown” as far as I’m concerned. Tic Toc in Loudon, TN is worth the drive. The ice cream is made on site. They offer a wide variety of flavors. My favorite is George Washington cherry. It contains real cherries and a vanilla - cherry base. I tried the Blackout flavor for the first time today and it is rich chocolate with chocolate chips in every bite. I really liked it. They offer special flavors. I tried a sample of the key lime pie flavor and it was one of my choices in the trio sampler. The sampler is children portions of any three of the flavors. The ice cream is creamy and does not leave an after taste in your mouth like store bought and also some fast food places. They usually have one to two workers and I have never had to wait more than five minutes to be served. Today the service was prompt and the young lady waiting on me was very patient and kind.
