Adams — Restaurant in Louisiana

I was craving fried seafood and another establishment was closed so I went to Adam’s. I ordered the seafood platter and I was excited for it, I was starving! I cannot believe that what I got was actually taste tested and then approved to be the winning recipe for the owners of Adam’s. The batter. What was that? No flavor, not crispy at all, the batter was soft and falling off the food. Ended up being a big mess of batter in the box with a heaping helping of shredded lettuce with a translucent slice of tomato on top for a salad. The tartar sauce was too sour tasting, couldn’t eat it. No ketchup was given and so I had to eat soggy seafood with no flavor and I paid wayyy too much for that mess. $21 for the meal! Y’all need to get back to finding the best recipe for the batter, do some taste testing with the public, or something bc this is Cajun country if you can’t cook with spices and flavor then you do not belong in Louisiana. I want my money back! Is this a restaurant chain that originated in one of the northern states?! Sure...

This is my first time leaving a bad review, I'm the type who just don't go back. So here goes, I brought a shrimp pasta dinner yesterday and it had a foul odor 🤮🤮 to it, I decided to call and let them know that I think the shrimp had gone bad, before they give someone food poisoning. The manager I talk to last night was very accommodating over phone wanting to fix the problem. I told him I was at work so I couldn't get there before they closed. He told me to come back tomorrow cuz he wanted to fixed this. (like a fool I showed up) Now today, the manager on duty could care less about my issues. Saying he only works one day out of the week (yeah right) talking about people do this all the time, complaining that something is wrong with their food. First of all people the food is usually delicious and I love their seafood dishes, but I don't know after this. So everyone be careful with seafood dishes.

I went here today Friday, August 18, 2023 to buy me a hamburger, went inside I was on the phone but I told my caller to hold on so I could place my order. The rude, bad hair wig, young girl at the register was too busy looking at what the older lady was doing, I had to ask her was she ready to take my order, she then faced me rolling her eyes and pursuing her lips, I told her what i wanted and didn't want on my hamburger, when I got home what i didn't want i had on it. So please please check your order in store and drive thru before you leave, because the cook must be illiterate in reading and understanding orders. Be alert people.
