Timing is everything. When you get there it could be a short wait or a long wait, all depending on the time of day. First time there the line was just way too long. That was a Saturday afternoon. A lot of people had a cookie craving. Second attempt, line was much shorter. It was a Friday evening. Right about the time everyone else is going to dinner.
It is worth the wait.

The cookies have a nice texture and wonderful flavor. Big enough to cut into thirds and still have an enjoyable amount of cookie. Great with coffee, milk, or a small glass of red wine.
Definitely dessert cookies.
The location itself was clean and well-staffed. I might not be able to make weekly visits, but I am pretty sure the rest of Houma is going to help...
