Ordered food. Half was hot half cold. Ok no prob. Got drink. Had to keep spilling it out and getting diff flavor because they all tasted bad. Their comment yea the ice leaks into it and makes it taste like that. Made a comment about the food, not expecting anything just letting them know it wasn't the best experience. Got defensive. We served it hot. Except forgot the part they gave the wrong food and we were waiting on the replacement burgers. Still no prob. The issue? The attitude and lack of respect. I don't expect free food but for $50 I expect basic courtesy. Then to stand in back complaining about us as we are still in the store. That gets you a 1* for service. At least have the decency to wait until we leave. Ordered ice cream thru app anyways while kids finishing their meal. Said ready at 1:22. Went near counter to wait. 1:25 asked where it was. Oh didn't know you were here. Handed half melted ice cream. What a joke. And waste. Then my wife and kids come out telling me they were still in the back complaining they gave hot food and that my family was complaining over nothing. If I could have given a 0 I would have for service. Food was ok. They were correct, the fries were hot. The onion rings cold. The burger hot. Because they messed up and sent wrong burger out and I was waiting on the new burger. So yea it was made hot and fresh. For the price roll down the road. There are many other burger places with less attitude to dine at. And I bet their drink machines don't taste like watery sugar mixes.
Edit: No, there is enough disrespect in this world as is. I don't feel the need to pay for food and get a side of...
Read moreA group of us went to DQ last night. There were also 4 teenagers that were inside with us. We got there close to 10pm which my husband was told was the time they close. I placed my order last, which was right before 10pm. When I ordered my blizzard the cashier rolled her eyes at her co-workers and looked at them. I'm guessing since 7 of us ordered blizzards and one ordered a sundae.
Once my friend received her sundae, we started walking out. The 4 teenagers were still inside enjoying their blizzards when the lights were turned off. My husband and friend told the workers that the lights automatically turn off at 10pm. Mind you, we didn't walk out until after 10pm because we had to wait for my friend's mobile order.
As soon as the 4 walked out, miraculously the lights came back on. While it is understandable that we all got there right before 10pm, it was a Saturday night, and we all selected DQ to spend our money at.
The workers the last few times I've gone are not friendly or helpful and have no knowledge of how to be in a customer service atmosphere. The last time I went through the drive through, the young man took my payment and walked away. He never gave us our blizzards and food that was placed right by the window. The manager had to come ask me why I was waiting. Hmmm...you order and pay for food, then you are supposed to get what you paid for.
I'm not sure who owns this DQ in Houma, but I think it's time that they show up and try to hire/help out the employees there. We love DQ, and were super excited when Houma finally got another one. This location is a...
Read moreRude. Ordered a “Blizzard Cake” on the app. When I arrived, they gave me a cake that looked nothing like what was pictured on the app. Sure, that’s not the employees’ faults, but the way they handled it was very rude. Multiple employees, including what must have been the shift manager, kept saying “I don’t understand what you’re problem is” lol. “It’s just a different color.” (Btw that was not the only difference—it looked like a completely different cake).
I’m guessing none of them have kids, because when you show a kid a picture of something that they want and bring them something that looks like a flattened, cheaper version of that, they will not be happy. As an adult, I was even taken aback at how pathetic this cake looked compared to what was pictured.
There was also no option to get my money back in the app, and the shift manager seemed like he actually wanted an argument, which is ridiculous. I just took the cake and left. At least the kind young lady at the register tried to be helpful and she new exactly why I was not happy.
Will not return to...
