Crust Pizza Co. - Baton Rouge — Restaurant in Louisiana

I have gotten pizza her almost once a week since they opened and no problems what so ever. The pizza is better then Lit pizza. Well today I order 3 pizzas said will be ready in 20 minutes. Went to pick them up a few mins later because I usually have to wait 5 mins or so we'll not today. I waited for my pizza for over and hour and a half. People dining in in were complaining they they have been waiting over an hour. The people in the kitchen had things so messed up. I praise the stout manager he was back there working his tale off trying to fix things. While I standing there watching them a skinny manager strolls out from the back and he is just standing there watching everyone work. The sweet girl who has been helping kept apologizing told her not her fault but the manager standing behind you with his hands in his pockets just watching could get in there and help these people. Well he heard me and went to grab gloves. He stood there and cut the pizza. He apologized to me as he passed me and I told him no your not. He hung his head and went to the other side of the kitchen and started to make the pizzas. So many angry people he didn't even try to fix the problem could off offerd a discount or something. I took a drink because I was thirsty. I asked the lil girl who has been trying to help me if I can buy a drink. She said ma'am at this point just go get you something to drink. It will be awhile...

Found my Favorite Vegan Pizza- Crust Crushed it!

I visited Baton Rouge for an LSU football game over the weekend and went to Crust for the first time on Friday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I chose “The Veggie” with vegan cheese. The pizza was so delicious that I had to go back a second time before leaving town. I loved that the pizza was covered in veggies and the vegan cheese was delicious, it had the perfect consistency; it is always a hit or miss with vegan cheese. On my second visit I built my own pizza and chose the Cauliflower Crust- again, no disappointment. The thickness of the pizza crust was perfect, the ingredients fresh and the taste wonderful. People with allergies and dietary restrictions are very appreciative of restaurants that have good quality food without sacrificing taste.

The restaurant itself is very clean and inviting, especially for families. They have a covered outside patio with a little turfed play area for children, so parents get to enjoy their dinner with a drink while the kids can play off their energy. I am already looking forward to visiting Baton Rouge and Crust again-...

The Philly was great and cheese bread was great. Atmosphere was awesome and next time I will dine in vs take out. The service was exceptional. The staff made the experience much better as they proactively assisted with ordering and giving details. The Philly is a pizza of the month which imo should be a permanent add. It should come with mushrooms like a Philly cheese steak would but doesn't. Thanks to the guy at the register suggesting mushrooms I wouldn't have noticed until I got home. I also found out the the staff has great suggestions of pizza toppings. If it were my restaurant, the Philly would be a permanent add and the monthly pizzas would be staff suggestions. The best of which would win a permanent spot on the menu or at least a monthly rotation. The sauces are great and the jalapeño ranch is amazing. Ask for extra if you are getting take out. That said, I highly recommend and will try...
