First off the food was fine. Ordering was amazingly easy on the website. I love it. You order pay online. Watch the awesome tracker and it tells you when your pizza is done or arrived. You walk in or hit the drive through collect your food say thanks. Smile and leave. Domino's has that down better than any other fast or fast casual restaurant. Its a model others should be jealous of. I am pretty familiar with how this works. Or so i thought until today. I arrive at the store early and sit and stare at the tracker while in my truck. It flashes saying your pizza is done! I get excited to try the new check in button so i can skip the line and collect my pizza like the VIP i am in my head. Unfortunately there was no line. Just one other unfortunate sole standing around bored staring at his receipt. Oh well. I have pizza! I go to the check in and receive pizza spot. Give my name and am told it will be just a minute. I am disappointed but oh well they probably just have to box it. Right? Right? I look up and see my name on the big screen flashing that its done and ready for pick up. Five minutes later my flashing name is just mocking me mercilessly. I am sad. Now there are two people standing around looking bored. I no longer feel like a VIP. the girl at the counter locks eyes with me. And tells me it will be just a minute. I say thanks and look up to my name on the screen only to watch it disappear. I point out to her that my name disappeared. I then sarcastically ask her if i should leave and come back later? As a joke. She goes on to tell me that yes that would be best and it shouldn't be more than 5 or 10 minutes. So now concerned i ask about the screen and why my name said ready and now its gone. She explains to me that the names on the screen do not in fact mean anything. So why do they use the screen? Why did my phone tell me my pizza was ready? I laugh with her about how ridiculous I am for thinking i knew how this system worked. I return to my truck to get my phone. You see i left it there to charge because I was just going to be a minute picking up my food. Like a VIP. But now i feel out of place standing around a lobby with nothing to stare at. Customers arrive pick up their pizza looking down at me as i wait for mine like a dirty peasant. Give me a head nod as they leave with their delicious pies. And i stand in a cramped pizza lobby sad, confused, and hungry. Until finally she brings my pizza to the counter. She hands it me. I say thanks. She says nothing. Just smiles. Again the pizza was good. The ordering system has changed recently for the worse and i will certainly not be having Domino's again for a...
Read moreI’ve had hit or miss experiences with this location. Food has always been delicious. However, first time I ordered delivery the app said “delivered” so I called to check on it and they told me the app sometimes does that before the pizza gets delivered. It ended up being delivered about 15-20 minutes afterwards. Today, I ordered a pizza at 2:40pm with a 30-40 minute wait. I was excited because I got one of the freebies with my order. Around 3:15pm, I checked the app and it said delivered but I figured I would wait a bit before calling. At 3:33pm I called the store. They told me the pizza left at 2:55pm and was supposedly delivered. They told me to check outside to see if they accidentally did contactless delivery - they didn’t. The employee said it should be here soon because it left with an employee at the end of his shift and told me to call back at 3:50pm if I hadn’t received the pizza yet. I called back at 3:53pm and they told me they could remake the pizza but not the freebie. I told them that was disappointing considering I had already waited an hour. The employee talked to his manager, who then said they could deliver the freebie as well but that it wouldn’t be delivered for another hour and a half… how is that acceptable? They also couldn’t tell me anything about the pizza that had apparently left the store and disappeared into thin air. I asked for a refund, which they gave me - along with a coupon. While I am glad they were able to compensate me, I cannot comprehend how this happened in the first place and still want an answer as to where my pizza magically disappeared to. Also upset at the fact that I really wanted pizza and had to end up cooking something last minute after waiting an hour for food that was never delivered. Not sure if I will be ordering again after I redeem my coupon (which I will probably do through a pickup order to avoid...
Read moreThe delivery process was supposed to be conducted in a non-contact manner. However; my experience was not like that at all. My food was delivered 13 minutes after the text alerts reported that the food was delivered. Once I received a call from the delivery person I realized they were in the front of the apartment complex and had been riding around instead of just calling to confirm my exact location. Once I walked outside I realized where the delivery person was located. I had to walk to the end of the parking lot to direct the delivery person to where I live. While I was walking back to my apartment they stopped in the middle parking lot and did not exit their vehicle. Not only did the delivery person not exit their vehicle to place my food on a chair I placed outside for this particular delivery scenario; the delivery person did not have on a mask or gloves. The delivery person began handing me my order. While doing so the delivery person then placed the delivery bag on their lap and took the food out to give to hand me my order. The delivery person complained that the food didn't want to come out of the delivery bag instead of just getting out the car and taking it out properly. I felt bad leaving a 15% tip when I feel it was not earned. The wings were undercooked, which I needed to put in the oven because my fiancee is pregnant and can not consume undercooked food. We even had to bake the pizza in order to get the well done appearance shown on television. Not to mention the dish of pasta was partially full. This has been one of the worst experiences with Dominos and it's contactless delivery process. Will not be recommending this location to anyone who that wants...
