Elegantes cakes Cafe — Restaurant in Louisiana

I really liked this bakery because of the service I received the first time I ordered a cake. The flavor was also very good. However, for my daughter's christening cake, they were not at all professional. On the day of picking it up, we realized they had misspelled the word "God" in the message; they wrote it in lowercase, even though we sent them pictures of how we wanted the decoration, which we had also requested. They told us they would correct it, but the next day, during the celebration, they delivered the cake with a hideous "arrangement" and left the capital letter the same small size. I've attached the photos. It's a shame because the place is nice, but we no longer trust them to do professional work for such special celebrations. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend it to my friends.

Esta pastelería me gustaba mucho por el trato que me dieron la primera vez que encargué un pastel, el sabor también estaba muy bueno. Sin embargo para el pastel del bautizo de mi hija no fueron nada profesionales. El día para recogerlo nos dimos cuenta que en el mensaje escribieron mal la palabra “God”, lo escribieron con minúscula, aún cuando se les enviaron imágenes de como queríamos la decoración, solicitadas también por ellos. Nos dijeron que lo iban a corregir, pero al día siguiente, que ya era la celebración, nos entregaron el pastel con un “arreglo” que se veía espantoso y la letra mayúscula la dejaron del mismo tamaño pequeño. I would not recommend this business!! The cake was not ready at the time of pick-up. To make matters worse, they burnt the cake and failed to inform me. They frosted it and handed to me as if nothing was wrong. The entire bottom lining of the cake was burnt dark as I started cutting it and it tasted burnt. I attempted to call them but they would not answer the phone. I brought it back and requested a full refund. Not a good look...

I sat down with suyapa and explained to her how I wanted my daughter’s 1st birthday cake to look like….. she just wasted my time because they did whatever they wanted! This lady even took notes and they still got my cake wrong!!!!! I will never go this place again on top of that I messaged suyapa and the lady responded 3 days later lol extremely unprofessional!! Waste of time and waste...
