I ordered 2 orders chicken gizzards, wedges and corn nuggets. All were available on the website. When I get there to pick up the order. I verified that it was all there because there were only 2 boxes. That is when they told me they had substituted livers for the gizzards. They would have let me walk out the door without telling me what they had done. When I asked for my money back the gave me $12.00 (the cost of the gizzards) so they were keeping the tax I paid. (Plus, livers are cheaper than gizzards and they were just gonna pocket the difference). When I slide the money back across the counter and told the manager the total was $22.26, he become angry that I didn't want any of the order and again tried to short me on my refund and I had to ask for the rest of my money. Don't go here if you want what you order, to be told the truth or to be treated as a human being.
Edit: Even without the above, had I not asked about the order, they would have sent me home with livers and not said a word about it. These are the rudest people I have dealt...
Read moreDelicious! First time visitor, but it certainly won't be the last! If you want fresh seafood, cooked to order, and seasoned extremely well, this is it. We went in just before the dinner rush. The service was great and the place was very clean! The food smelled winderful. Mo was very welcoming, patient, and helpful in explaining what they offered and how to combine choices. The food was cooked fresh, not sitting under a light. The wait was 20 minutes but definitely worth it. Between us we had trout, red fish, and catfish (careful of the bones in the trout, and it wasn't as flavorful as the other fish). We had the shrimp and potato wedges, great flavor. Then there were wings. Lemon pepper was everything, the breaded wings with the magic dust is second on my list. 3rd are the garlic parmesean, and finally the cajun wings which were good but just didn't scream cajun. The sauces and french bread were good as well. Very large portions and I can't stress enough, THE MAGIC DUST. Prices are fair for the top quality service and flavor. I loved it and will...
Read moreIt pains me to say my experience with hooks today was completely unexpected. I thought I was gonna get the same service and quality I get at the locations they have in New Orleans, however when I got my food I was surprised to see it was undercooked and they had no condiments outside of the one homemade sauce (hooks sauce). I declined the offer to try the sauce because I don’t like pre made sauce like that. I didn’t understand why he was being so rude because I asked for ketchup and tartar sauce. He rudely said he was going to post my reaction on his social media so I recorded my own and I hope he actually post the full video so yall can see how rude he was to my whole group. Even insisted that we were gonna eat it how he served it and even stated he doesn’t eat it anyway so it doesn’t matter if they have the right sides to go with the food. Sir under cooked seafood can get you sick 🤢. If I wasn’t wrong why did you provide the refund. Long story short this was not New Orleans...
