I went to this particular establishment today 12-3-2023 after church. I ordered the foot long corned beef sub on white bread. I made a donation and I gave a tip. I brought my sub home to eat and I found some hair in my sandwich. I was so disgusted, disappointed and angry. I packed up the sandwich and took it right back to sandwich shop. Thank God I don't live far. When I entered the establishment, I wasn't rude or anything. I informed the young man why I was back. He informed a young lady that had on a red shirt and had blue hair what was going on. I assume she was a manager. She informed him that she was too busy with orders, she couldn't help me so another young lady who was getting something to drink from the soda machine came to assist me. I see her name is raven from the refund receipt. I told her what happened and I opened the container that had the sandwich in it and I showed her the sandwich with the hair. She pulled the hair from the sandwich and apologized. She asked me did I want another sub and I told her I would like a refund. While I was speaking to this young lady, the one with the blue hair and the young man was talking and laughing. I don't know if they were talking or laughing about me but from where I was standing, that's what it seemed like to me. You couldn't help me but you have time to talk and laugh. They showed no sympathy. I don't know what has happened to the food industry. It's like they do not care about their customers anymore. Also, what happened to restaurants requiring their employees to wear hair nets when preparing food. I really wanted that sub but I am now turned off. They have lost my business. I will not be back. Yes my bad for not checking my food before I left but this was never a problem when I did work there. I reached out to a Manager and then Armani texted my phone trying to start an argument. (I did not know she had access to reach out me) I therefore reached out to a hire up to hopefully get some clarification or something good to help me and that girl out, but no. I was completely ignored by every single one. How about you control your employees because from my knowledge and experience, it is very unprofessional for an employee to start texting a customer about a problem that was not addressed to them directly. Read moreI’ve been putting off making this review, but I finally feel ready. When I went Firehouse Subs with my son I saw a blonde girl with a blue shirt humping and grinding on her coworkers. I saw the same girl vaping in the back of the store while the other employees made my sandwich. I had come in before and the customer service was horrible, but I wanted to give this place another try. My faith in this establishment is gone. I brought my 9 year old to what I thought was a family friendly restaurant when in reality it’s disgusting. The workers looked miserable, it was just a toxic environment.
