Broussard location- My experience with these guys?… Not one update while I waited for my truck for 8 hours. Lift could’ve been put on in 2 hours (very simple bolt-on kit with the right equipment and tools) Amp steps they ordered for me were wrong. Found this out at the END of my wait there. Was told they would order the right steps and let me know when to come back for installation. This was months ago and I haven’t heard a word and no reply to my email sent regarding my steps. They also told me at the end that they had taken my fixed steps off to prepare for the amp step install and that they would put them back on before I left, like it was a favor. This was a lie, my fixed steps were never removed! Every nut holding them on still had light mud on them and in no way were they touched. So say they aligned my truck after the lift. Wrong. All they did was straighten the steering wheel, truck pulled terrible to the right as soon as I left that rat hole. I decided to actually get it aligned at another shop. Once home from getting the lift put on I got under my truck and found several lift kit nuts not tight. I corrected that. Some parts in the lift kit I ordered were not all used (steering dampener for one), yet they kept those parts. And I didn’t realize this until I was already home. Even though they didn’t use the parts, I paid for them and they should have been given to me. Maybe the prairie ville shop is a little more courteous and professional? But I’ll never go back nor recommend this...

My dissatisfaction is 4 fold. First, I noticed my truck was pulling to the left and my steering wheel wasn't straight after they had the alignment done. Second, I noticed an occasional "knock" from the front right when I hit ruts, put holes, or pulling into my driveway, (I will explain later). Third, they had marred one of my new wheels when attempting to balance the wheel. Fourth, I asked to have everything placed in the back of my truck that was removed during installation of my lift. They didn't put the skid plate back under the front. It was placed in the back of my truck, but without the bolts. So, if they can't find them when I go back in the morning I will have to buy new ones.

About the "knock"...

I climbed under my truck to inspect the work. When I got to the front right wheel I noticed grease had exploded upwards and was sprayed inside the wheel and A-arm area. It was a significant amount, so, naturally I was concerned. I noticed an Allen wrench had been left in a bolt and was rubbing my front CV joint. I tried to pull it out, but it was jammed tightly. I am hoping my CV joint or front wheel bearing wasn't damaged some how. This is all very upsetting especially since the truck only had 671 miles at the time the work was done.

The only reason they got 2 stars was because their attitudes were pleasant when originally...

A few weeks ago I was shopping around for some custom work that I wanted done on my truck. One specific company "down the street" originally quoted me a little cheaper for the rims, BUT tried to overcharge me for the other services. So I thought I was going to have to go to multiple places to get all the work done in order to stay within my budget. Alpha Customs was not only able to do everything I was looking to get done, but they also price matched the competitors. That's when I made my final decision to just give all my business to them, and i''m so glad I did.

The specific rims and tires I bought had to be ordered, but came in within a few days. I also wanted the rims to be another color, and I was thrilled to find out that Alpha works with a powder coating company that was able to change the color for me. Once everything came in and the rims were done getting powder coated, it only took them about a day to install everything (a lift kit, rims, and tires). When it was time for pick up, they even had someone on site after business hours, which was very convenient for me.
