Fujiyama — Restaurant in Louisiana

Really I am pretty easy to please when i am talking about Sashimi, Sushi or tempura ( you can read my review on sushi place from all over the World Tokyo, singapore quebec new york seattle) its only one word "fresh Quality Fish" ! the smell of the fish they served me was smelly like if it was a left over from the dock and seat there for few days ! I couldn't put that "S..." in my mouth! I had as well few tempura ! or what they call tempura ! but it was nothing to do with tempura it was a Greasy beignet with and heavy indigested dough ! this place should be report to the health...

First time ordering. Ordered an order of Crab Rangoon and Utah Roll To Go on a Monday night. The Crab Rangoon was 90% wonton and 10% filling- very disappointing and not worth the price at all. The Utah Roll tasted like sushi I'd get from Rouses, I didn't eat half of the tuna because it did not taste fresh. They couldn't even cover the roll with avocado. To top it off, the guy who checked me out was not friendly at all - said "to go order?" and "$28.90" and that's it. I said "thank you, have a great day" - nothing in return. Not a smile. Pretty excited to find this restaurant on the west bank and it's close to an area I regularly visit for work.

There was ample seating when we arrived and we received quick service. The only issue was the booth seats are not the most comfortable. Additionally, the back moved so the person behind me and I could feel each other leaning in the back of the seat.

The food though was quickly delivered to the table and it was fresh and excellent sushi. I'm going to be coming back the next...
