Griffin's Poboy and Grille — Restaurant in Louisiana

Just went thru their drive thru 2 orders,now we called and placed our orders,got there, where we waited a good 20 mins..which is normal for hot food...but when my order came the middle of my fries were literally COLD,none of the ones in the bag were hot,..barely lukewarm,so I called,they said come back we will replace them. Ok .we go bk..guy comes to window and says we need the first bag of fries,or u have to pay for a new bag..which I had bc who wants to eat cold fries, but to tell me they are replacing them..-then if I hadn't kept them, I'd have to pay 🤬 they thought I wouldn't come back maybe..2nd bag was lukewarm...Idk what's goin on there, but this is the 1st time I've been disappointed. We got there arond 2:30 pm, so our "off-hour" experience may have been atypical.

The prices were reasonable, and our waitress was friendly enough -- especially considering our repeated requests for more time to order. Once the orders were in, however, the kitchen staff took their sweet time getting our plates to the table.

When the food finally arrived, my dad's order was wrong (he asked for gumbo and got shrimp stew), and my onion rings were a tad too soggy. I had a "Swamp Boy" burger, which appeared from the menu to be a signature dish, but in reality was pretty "meh."

Dad's opinion of the stew was about the same.

All in all, not terrible, but nothing...

Food was very poorly prepared, burnt oil taste and very salty. Sweet Potato fries very soggy and burnt oil taste also. Your food is usually good, today you failed drastically. Why not bring it back, we’ll it’s Saturday and I ordered at about 2:20 pm picked up food about 2:35 went home and opened food and was to late you closed at 3:00pm stray cat and birds will have a $$$$ meal today if they can Even eat this disappointing food. Your photos of what you serve are very misleading. Will I be back probably though it will be awhile. Food like what was prepared like this and the money I spent is...
