The store was closed down a while back because the manager tried to unalive herself. At least that's what I was told..and apparently her boyfriend told all the employees as well as the customers. I hope she dumped him! Her late husband started the business and after he died, his wife, Lynne, took over. She will run the business into the ground because she has no backbone and poor management skills. She prefers to keep a leaching, homeless vagrant in there for hours, eating sugar packets all day intimidating the customers by acting insane. Its very uncomfortable while he's in there. A waitress tried to get him to leave and he wouldn't. So she called the cops to remove him from the property but the manager, Lynne, told the waitress to not do that and that he could stay so the waitress quit on the spot. I don't blame her. Why would ANYONE want to work for someone who doesn't care about the safety of her employees or customers??. They say he's harmless. Maybe he is...until he isn't. This place won't last much longer due to the poor management, giving unlimited free food to her friends, employees and their friends as well. It's a shame she takes sides with a homeless man, laughing hysterically and pulling his hair out, dropping hair and dirt all over the counter top, being no help, over a waitress doing her job trying to get by in life. Ill never return. I read a review on google where someone said they were racist cause of the treatment they saw given to a black waitress. I don't believe they're racist. They have a click vibe. If you don't fit in, you won't. Its pretty bad when management says to take a 20 from the register at the end of closing shift as an incentive to do their job...wowww. It really is a shame. The manager is too nice for her own good. The donuts are good and so is the food. A bit over priced but, what isn't over...
Read moreI’ve been going to TerryTown Cafe for years ordering these same Happy birthday doughnuts but on today when I got my order I ended up with these bite size doughnuts on the right we normally I get full sized doughnuts. I called and talked to someone in charged and they told me well thats our product we only have one size cutter I then asked well how are they so much different from the prior years and she stated she don’t know because they cuz the same cutter and that if I wanted bigger I needed to request it but I’ve never heard of that until now when I ordered no one ever mentioned sizing just that it cost the price of a large king cake😩 $25 for bite size donuts is insane… but I digress. the attitude/ problem solving over the phone was very much unprofessional and I did not appreciate the tone and verbiage she used while handling the situation. Thanks for not...
Read moreTheir doughnuts and baked goods are awesome. I thought I would do a surprise appearance and even though I was being friendly and trying to make simple conversation just about if she knew anything about this establishment and if the cashier could help me with a few questions solely if I could take a few pics and cafe. She immediately started to act wierd and ignored my presence which that was the first person in awhile unless they were under the influence or very unfriendly to do that to a customer. So if you go over there just go for the food but I rate overall performance not just food because of the vast variety of types of business. Every 1-3 months I reevaluate. At least an apology would be sought. Every customer and every being is important. Without us wanting those great pastries, doughnuts, etc; then it would...
