DO NOT GO HERE. One Star because they are very UNETHICAL. I ordered with UberEats and there was no one to pick up my order so I told them I would pick up my order myself, no problem, I was just excited to eat. Called Uber support and got it handled (delivery fee waived) , and they told me it was ok to go pick up since I was still being charged for the food. I picked up the food and the woman at the counter asked if i was going to pay there. I explained that uber support advised me to pick up the food and they are still getting paid and i even told her my order confirmation number. She said ok and let me leave with my food. I get a call when I am already halfway home and it's China Kitchen asking me to come back because "they accidentally gave me someone else's order"....I go back and the lady nearly snatches the bag of food out of my hand. When I asked what on earth is going on she was yelling and making a scene in a full restaurant saying I didn't pay. Turns out my order WAS correct and the lady LIED to get me to come back. I said "Let me get this straight, you lied to me as a paying customer so that i could come back and you could take the food i paid for out of my hands??" She said "OF COURSE HOW ELSE WAS I SUPPOSED TO GET YOU TO COME BACK??" I already waited an hour for the food and this lady is embarrassing me in front of other paying customers. She tried to stop me from leaving but since this whole situation was BS and I know my rights, I left anyway with my food. I called Uber support to let them know what unbelievable mess just happened and make sure I was in the right and they confirmed that i was correct. Extremely unethical of them to try to get me to pay again even though my food was already paid for through Ubereats. Not to mention trying to embarass me by making a scene in front of their other customers. Terrible way to conduct business, they should be ashamed of how they have treated me after being a...
Read moreI pulled in around 630 or 7pm place seemed pretty empty. (Again I consider myself a foodie) if I hear about a place having good grub i wana go! I hear about this particular restaurant in a Facebook group im in, an everyone was like hands down the best on the westbank.... So I get my go-to's General Tso white rice..and honey chicken i believe an a order of vegetable lomein (because the meat in the lo mein never looks like what it needs to be) more on that later🥴 So the order takes quite a while for it to be just me in the building I get home to my general tso The chicken to rice ratio was a bit off not the deal breaker though, I bite into a very soggy bite of general tso...it wasn't just soggy it had a consistency of slime and I just didn't trust the chicken under the batter... I quickly switched boxes grabbed my veggie lo mien piping HOT PRETTY GOOD FRESH AS I PICKED OVER THE EGGROLL(I DONT EAT SHRIMP) BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN EGGROLL WITH YOUR CHINESE!! ON TO MY HONEY CHICKEN, VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS DISH THESE AGAIN WERE ROUGH HARD THE RICE WAS ALMOST AT THAT POINT OF BEING TOO DRY BUT AFTER SPENDING ALMOST 35 DOLLARS I HAD TO EAT SOMETHING!! AGAIN THIS WAS JUST MY EXPERIENCE OF THIS RESTAURANT AT THAT PARTICULAR TIME MAYBE 7 IS TO CLOSE TO CLOSE. I DO LOVE MY CHINESE AND I WILL GIVE THEM A CHANCE...
Read moreI've been to this location for takeout a couple times in the past. I've paid the lunch price and the dinner price. Today was the first time I've ordered takeout from China Kitchen since before everyone was put on quarantine. I ordered over the phone and paid once I arrived. I was told that my total was $10.98. I said, I thought your lunch special was $8.98. The cashier looked surprised then he quickly said, Its extra for shrimp fired rice. I have never paid extra for shrimp fried rice at China Kitchen before, so he over charged me. I started to cancel my order but I was hungry and didn't want to go anywhere else but I will never order from China Kitchen again. Don't over charge customers, its the same as stealing. The rice was hard plus my order was missing the sweet and sour sauce that was suppose to come with the meal. I asked the cashier to give me the sweet and sour sauce and he said "its in the bag." I said, "where? I don't see it." Then I took everything out the bag and showed to him. That's when he decided to go get the sauce I had already paid for. Horrible customer Service. It only takes one time for me to have a bad experience and I'll never send my money there again. China Kitchen had...
