Lee's Hamburgers — Restaurant in Louisiana

Lee's Hamburgers is an old school New Orleans burger joint and you might just ask how old is old school? Well Lee's Hamburgers have been famous for their burgers since 1901. The 122 years of Lee's Hamburgers (as of 2023) really lends some well recognized experience to making great food and you would typically have rather high expectations of a place with such a long history. I have eaten at multiple locations of Lee's Hamburgers over the years and sampled many of their menu items. For this review at this location we will focus on my specific order for this one visit where I had a cheeseburger with a side of onion rings and it was certainly some cheeseburger deliciousness. Lee's Hamburgers are distinctive from many other fast food type joints like this as they definitely have thicker meat on their burgers than most other fast food places you are likely to find. For this visit I would have to say while my burger was good I've had better in the past at this location and at other locations of Lee's Hamburgers. Overall this is a definite step up from the national chain options and a much more enjoyable environment as well!

The fish was good. The food took a long time to come out. Came out one person at a time. The onion rings were flavorless. The fries were soggy and tasted like old grease. The tenders were over cooked and full of grease. I've never had an experience like this before. We ordered 2 orders of onion rings and they gave us 1 order. Told the guy we had 2 orders. He yells to the back did this order have 1 or 2 orders of onion rings. They said they had 2. I felt like he was calling me a liar and a thief. The lady yells back that they had 2, I told you that. So he yells back nah you told me 1. Then says if you still want them I'll have to drop more. Well we already paid for them. I'm getting a 1 Star for the fish. It wasn't greasy and it had salt and pepper (at least a little flavor). When my child went to school out that way we would stop by once a month for a treat. The food use to be delicious. Not sure if they changed the recipes, got new cooks, or the old cooks just don't care. I'll pass on...

We placed and order from our office today and was extremely disappointed.The fries were burned and very hard. We called and spoke with the manager in hopes of having the problem rectified after spending so much money. He was VERY RUDE AND SAID THAT THERE WAS NO WAY THAT COULD BE because he fried them himself. The other ladies were also not satisfied with their burgers or chicken strips.Regardless of what he felt was sufficient may not have been what our quality expectations were requiring,And we are entitled to that opinion when spending our money. Ive always been taught that the customer's satisfaction should always be a priority and taken into consideration . I informed him that we would Definitely not be ordering from there again, and he seemed very unbothered!! Customer Service is not what it use to be,and these businesses wonder why they are struggling to stay a float.Word of mouth with good service is better than any billboard...
