Not a fan of their banh mi. One day my co-worker wants to go to Hong Kong to get Banh Mi for lunch. So I though we're getting banh mi in Hong Kong market, which is where I usually buy when I do my grocery there. Price is cheaper and better quality. So when we got there, turns out they want to go to Mr. Bubble not in HK. So I'm easy, I give it a try. Order Combination with Avocado Smoothie. Banh Mi is expensive and disappointing if compare to HK. Usually our favorite Banh Mi would be banh bi from Viet My market but we don't go over there often. Their smoothie is fair. I usually go to HK grocery early before Mr. Bubble open. I would see their banh mi are delivered by Dong Phuong in recycle paper not even sealed placed on the floor in front of their door. Who knows someone walks by rub their hand or spit on the banh mi or all those dust particles flowing on the air circulating in that hallway. This was #1 reason throws me off that made me don't want to give it a try. It just doesn't make sense. HK next door bake fresh banh mi daily, why don't they pick up fresh banh mi from HK 10mins early before they open the shop and not having their 1-2hr unseal banh mi delivered sitting on the floor expose to open air circulation in the hall way. I really didn't see any advantage Dong Phuong's bake banh bi over HK's to make a small 5% different. But what makes a good banh mi is the ingredients. I order banh mi dong phuong less than 5 times for sure. I'm not really a fan of DP because their ingredient wasn't that...
Read moreI often ordered Banh Mi from here because of its FRESHNESS. I've been telling all my coworkers about Mr. Bubbles Sandwich. I today ordered the Banh Mi for my whole team and they came out Really Bad. The breads were old, dull and dry. The meats were also old, slimy and smelly. It's totally Disgusting. I decided to to write this review to alert the owner and guests who order Banh Mi from this shop. They should inspect the food before selling to their customers. Otherwise, such mistake can cause serious...
Read moreI regularly visit Mr. Bubbles Sandwich House for their Vietnamese coffee boba smoothie, and it's always a good deal. You get a generous 32 oz drink loaded with plenty of boba for what you pay. I've seen some reviews mention a lack of boba, but my guess is those visits happened later in the day when they were low on stock. The service is fast too, from ordering to getting your drink. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the mood for...
