New Orleans Original Daiquiris — Restaurant in Louisiana

Yet again another job well done. Great location. Seemingly one would think it wouldn't be the greatest because of it being tucked off at the foot of Vets; but this is so far from the truth. I actually kinda like it being at the foot of Vet; you know the border of New Orleans/Metairie... just in case I forgot to grab a daiquiri down by the mall, this location gives me another opportunity to make it happen.

There's a drive thru, but I'm not sure how it works as it's located in the rear of the store and there's no "thru" that can be done back there. They should call it a "turn around" because that's about what happens back there. But I opt to just hop out and sashay into the establishment and order my drink; gives a moment to do a tasting of sorts. LOL.

Whenever I visit, there's someone/a few more people in the place than the last time that I visited; this is a plus huh?

There are several things I like about this place. One is the new container the gallon of daiquiri comes in. Another is they have a drive up around the back. And they have several days of specials on daiquiris. Their daiquiris are definitely better than Daiquiris and Cream... And the price you see is the price you pay! I went to a daiquiri and creams drive up one day and was not used to paying additional tax on top of the price, and the Daiquiris aren't really all that good anyway. I'm used to having taxes included. So I never went back, this was on...

I received horrible service at this location. I walked into the store and there was one service worker there who was on the phone and did not address me or my boyfriend when we said hello. She was taking selfies and answering a facetime call. We waited for a few minutes to be acknowledged properly, but she acted like we were not there. She did not say a word to us. So, we left. This location clearly needs to work on their customer service. I’ve never received such horrible customer...
