Ocean Star Super Buffet — Restaurant in Louisiana

Horrible flavorless burnt food . The waitresses are some of the worst I've seen. They are rude and stalk and harass you for a tip. I will never be back. Plus the waitress vaccummed under our table as we ate and never filled our drinks. Hung over our table while we where eating getting her hair in our plate trying to get us to hurry, when the place was mostly empty. Then asked when are you going to pay when obviously we where eating and there is a desk to pay at if you choose. I still don't know how I was able to keep myself from loosing my cool it was HORRIBLE! When they first opened I actually liked them. But this is the third and last time I have been through a horrible waitress experience there!

2 years later and gave this place another chance and uhh big mistake! $110 for family of 5 and 3 of 5 are kids! For a Chinese buffet with hard meat and flat soda! Plus waiter didn’t...

Went here while in town based on the large amount of good ratings the place had. Super disappointed, only thing really good was the hibachi so props to you Mr. Hibachi dude. All the seafood was cooked to the point it was basically mush in the shell. And not just because it had been sitting in the warming trays and had stayed cooking. They brought some crabs up from the kitchen, I watched them put them on the line, and took some and when I cracked them the meat was practically a paste.

Sushi rolls were okish. But most everything else I tried was about on par with the crabs. Tried not to complain to much but when we were leaving my wife asked me if we ever come back to Houma to not bring her there again. Used to come here 3-4 times a week but the past year or so hasnt been the same. The food is good and fresh (usually), restaurant is pretty clean but turnover seems REALLY high. Everytime we go it seems like it's a whole different crew of people working. Also, they give punch cards-for every 10th visit you get a FREE meal. Well, I live in Raceland and sometimes we go unexpectedly and I forget my card at home. So I get another card and get my punches so then I have 2 cards (but total 10 purchases). Even though we were going 3-4 times a week and they knew us by name they wont take 2 cards-seems really petty!! Theres 10 total purchases so what is the problem??
