First off it has been a very long time since I ate here. I couldn't remember why at first but it's probably been over a year. So off we went for our Monday evening eat-out ritual. We arrived and as usual we wanted a booth, and there was only two which weren't occupied. Both were dirty. Our waitress did acknowledge this and promptly cleaned one off for us. First, the pros: The pizza tasted really good The waitress was nice. And that's about all. So what was the problem? Way too cold in the dining area. Not good when you have to wait 45 minutes for your food. When I inquired if this long wait is normal, I was told there was a large cater order being fulfilled. Maybe it's just me but i believe they should prioritize dine in customers who order a single pizza and should be gone in under 60 minutes over a large catered order that was placed hours or days ago. When we finally received the pizza, it was oily. I mean really, really oily. The pizza did have toppings which could have attributed to the oiliness but there is a limit to where food starts to become grotesque due to a simple oversight such as excessive amounts of artery-clogging poison. Just look a my pictures and you decide for yourself. Finally, the cost of the pizza ($24) is excessively high. And this doesn't include any kind of complimentary appetizer such as bread sticks or a drink. So by the time you finish your meal with only a single pizza and 3 drinks, you are at $30. Yep...$30 for a frickin pizza, not even including the tip. But I am an honest person and I told our waitress my honest opinion about our experence there. She was nice and took half off the cost of the pizza. Well then it was quite a good price. But in the end I don't foresee myself returning within a similar time frame as before. I mean why would I freeze my buns off at any place where I have to pay money? There are just too many other places. So you decide what the experience is worth to you.

This place is an amazing pizza joint! When I saw that they make a pizza based on one of my favorite sandwiches, the muffuletta, I had to order one immediately! With pepperoni, salami, Canadian bacon, and olive salad, they perfectly captured the flavors of that savory Louisiana sandwich. I was so impressed. The delicious pizza dough stood up well to the array of toppings. There was no sogginess or limpness to the dough at all. The dough had the perfect chew.

Not the best pizza. Cheese was burnt- the whole pie was brown on top and was so over cooked that it became hard- and their sauce is weird. It's very sweet and barely tastes like tomato sauce and has a spicy after taste, which a basic sauce should not. They also left out an item I ordered which I didn't notice until I got home. I ate here a few years ago and it was much better then.

My son, father and I went to Rotolo's for dinner on 7/14/2016 and I must say I will NEVER return and I will ensure I notify each and every person I know not to bother. Number 1 place was so cold the staff were wearing sweaters, number 2 service- WHAT SERVICE? we were the only 3 people in the restaurant at 6:00 p.m. with several staff members including two on duty managers. It took over 20 minutes for anyone to even say HI another 10 to receive the drinks we ordered. number 3 food- my son and I ordered a med pizza and instead of receiving on a pan or plate we received a med pizza smashed into a small box. We then asked for a manager and we were told they were to busy to attend to our needs. At this point we were so frustrated we didn't eat asked for the bill walked out and drove around. As we drove around we noticed two (2) employees sitting out back smoking talking on their cell phones; so we stopped and asked if they were the "On duty Managers" we were told "YES WE ARE" they were to busy smoking and talking rather than attending to the customers. Horrible service horrible staff horrible food presentation and my dog even turned his nose up to the Med pizza shoved in the small box. WARNING DO NOT WASTE YOUR...

Every single time I’ve gone to this place, the service somehow gets worse — and this was the last straw for me. There were only 3 tables total, including me and my 3-year-old son, so it wasn’t even busy.

Our waitress acted like she couldn’t care less about being there or about her customers, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt — maybe she was having a bad day. She suggested the ā€œbuild your own pizzaā€ on the kids’ menu, which I thought was a fun idea. She brought out the ingredients, my son and I made the pizza… but the dough was completely raw.

We waited 12 minutes for her to come back so we could get it cooked properly. During that time, both waitresses and the bartender saw us sitting there waiting and did absolutely nothing. Not even a ā€œbe right with you.ā€ One waitress even had earbuds in — that’s when I realized we’d get service whenever they felt like it.

If they honestly think raw pizza dough is okay to serve, that’s just nasty and shows how little they care about their job or the customers. I’ll never go back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone. You can find way better food, service, and prices anywhere in Chalmette — no reason to waste your time...
