Price: $36.93 3/5 Portions were small. If the margarita would have been bigger would have been better. Also, the Aquas fresca had more flavor than the margarita. If they could out the alcohol in the Aquas Fresca would have been better. Went up a point bc had watermelon pulp in it.

I live in Holy Cross and had been going to another nearby Mexican restaurant with my family. A long term local told me about El Patron. I had seen the building but did not realize that it was this Mexican restaurant, El Patron. Wow!!! I give it 10 stars for authentic fresh food with big portions, the service was gentle, attentive and really fun. The whole experience was above and beyond. Excellent food and our waitress was amazing! Drinks were really well made and not very expensive but the food was absolutely over the top. The steak fajitas was huge portion and made seasoned and juicy, I'm definitely going back for the Pineapple Fajitas to see if it measures up to my favorite place in Missouri. This is definitely a diamond in the rough that is not getting the recognition it deserves! You can definitely tell they take pride in their food and our waitress was super awesome, she took care of my wife and I and her cousin and it was very much a wonderful experience.
