Family friendly place. Only ate here once, so I don't know if my experience is typical.
I had a very friendly and extra nice waitress.
Chick chick bruh appetiser really good. Crispy outside. Meaty. Tasty hummus dip. Better than my pizza, and would he enough to satisfy a normal person for dinner.
I had mixed feelings on pizza (12" half Maui wowi half the angry pig).
The sauce, cheese and toppings were REALLY heavy. This makes the crust REALLY soggy to the point of feeling like the dough is raw. Can't pick up a slice without making a huge mess. I ate mine with fork and knife. This is a big minus.
On the other hand, I didn't feel like I was shorted on any cheese or toppings. Got my money's worth there.
The crust at the edge is tasty and slightly crispy.
Slice solidifies nicely when refrigerated and eaten cold as leftovers.
I'd prefer a more solid crust down under. I love a crusty bottom.
Soggy crust brings it down a two stars for me. Value I see in abundant toppings brings it back up a star. Good chick chick bruh is...
Read moreThe same mistake happened twice!!! on my initial order and on the remake. I ordered a vegetarian calzone, expressly requested no Canadian bacon, but the kitchen added the meat not once, but twice! I had to make 3 trips and miss dinner with my family b/c no one thought it important enough to read the ticket, before making my order: I can understand the error gapping once; things happen. But not to take care when making my order the second time is shameful. The only reason that I gave 2 stars, instead of 1 star, is because the on-duty manager promptly gave me a full refund for my entire order, at my request, for the $71 order. I’m saddened that I can’t trust this location- this was my first time to go there. I generally like Rotollo’s food and this location is only at 10 minute drive for me.. But, the team’s lack of attention and care is too frustrating; I don’t think that I will be back to this location the next time my family...
Read moreStopped for lunch as it's $5.99 Calzones on Wed. Saw this young man come in w/ his work uniform drenched.
Asked him what plant he was at & he said the steel mill where they're moving things in one of the warehouses. Told him to stay hydrated as it's hot & was quite obvious he was sweating from all the effort.
When I was paying my bill, I thought about it & offered to pay his, but the waitress, Rachel (I think), had already done so. As she already executed the same idea, I added his amt to the tip line as the waitress is also working hard & I didn't want her to lose out by doing a good deed.
I'm by this place a couple times a month, but may consider going by more often & every Wed. The waitresses are polite to a fault, always saying "excuse me" & waiting before interrupting anything at their tables, which isn't terribly necessary, but finding kindness is too...
