today was the fifth time in the past couple of months that i ordered ahead for in-store pickup, only to get there at the time it was meant to be ready and then waited an extra 25 minutes because the baristas misplaced my drink. i used to order ahead before work but i can’t do that anymore because i never know if it’ll make me late or not due to inconsistency. normally someone sees me waiting and asks what i’m waiting on, checks on my order, and locates/remakes the drink. today, though, three separate baristas asked me what i was waiting on and then went right back to what they were doing without bothering to pretend to look into it. i’ve been coming here consistently at least a couple times a week for over a year and the service used to be great. lately, however, it’s subpar at best. aside from that, the parking lot situation is a nightmare. good luck trying to get out of a parking spot without someone blocking you in to wait in line. even if you do get around the line, half the time the dumpster is open so you can’t get through anyway. it’s unfortunate because the location is so convenient but i will have to find somewhere else to get my coffee from here on out. sadly, it’s faster for me to go 10 minutes out of my way for coffee than it is to order ahead at the starbucks 0.5 miles from my home. i do not recommend this...
Read moreI was in the drive thru and placed my order. Two cars in front of me pulled out of the line. We have been waiting awhile. They don’t ask my name for the order and he didn’t say his name. By the time I got to the window, and the young lady said the order and I replied that it wasn’t what I ordered. I told here two cars pulled out . They were deeply confused. I told her what I ordered and she asked the manager Chris to help her this the cash register. Then he came to the window . I asked him what the problem was since I told the young lady what I ordered dude your in the weeds you got to keep pushing bro . He said he felt disrespected by me saying that and wanted to fight it was the most ridiculous thing ever had happened while try get what I ordered . It’s obvious that this young man can’t handle the stress of six or seven cars in the drive thru and by no means be leading any team. Read moreI used to enjoy coming to this Starbucks, but lately the atmosphere has completely changed. The management at this location creates a negative environment that's hard to ignore. While waiting for my drink, I even witnessed a manager (a Black woman who speaks very slowly so I definitely heard her) cursing at an employee in front of customers, which was incredibly unprofessional. It's also disappointing to see that they recently let go of one of the most hardworking and positive employees they had. This particular employee used to make my chai latte exactly how I liked it and always gave me awesome recommendations for drinks I can try. It's clear that this location does not prioritize treating their staff with respect, and that reflects in the overall customer experience.
