About a month ago I made a purchase through the mobile app at this store. When I went to pick up the order, the store did not have one of the items I ordered. Rather than ask if I wanted to substitute something (which most stores do) the window cashier attempted to give a comp card worth $4. At that point I stated that the item I ordered actually cost more than $4. The cashier came back with an additional $4 comp card. About 2 weeks ago I tried to use the comp cards for my purchase at this same store however discovered they were never even activated! The cashier took my name and number and said she would have someone call me. Someone stating she was a manger named Jennifer did call. She said she was manager, apologized and said 2 activated cards would be waiting for me upon return to the store. A few days laters she called to remind me that the cards were waiting for me. I went to the store today and when I asked for the cards, the cashier went and then returned saying “today’s manager, Liz, said she knows nothing about it it.” I called this manager and she tells me, “I’m the only manager here and I am not aware of this.” I asked that the regional manager (apparently the only manager named Jennifer) call me upon which I was told, “she’s in a meeting today”. It really shouldn’t have to be this difficult. If refunds cannot be made through the mobile app, then individual stores should be keeping inventory in the system up to date and h e a better system in place. Read moreI’m leaving this review for Malik & Chad at the Airline & Antioch location (store # 29618). My mother and I were in there a couple times this week and my mom has a coffee order w/SEVERAL steps to making it. We’re usually met w/eye rolls and heavy sighs when we order. Malik & Chad were angels. They took our order w/zero disdain. They even tried to remake it once(w/o us even mentioning anything) because they forgot the whipped cream. Those two young men have made this location our favorite (and my mom buys LOTS of Starbucks, coffe and cups) that we will always visit each time we get Starbucks. I’ve never left a review before because I’ve never had a barista make my mom’s coffee without attitude. That’s how much we appreciate Malik & Chad. They didn’t treat us like a nuisance, they were friendly, personable and happy. They made us feel welcome and that our time and order (and the money we spend here) mattered. Starbucks, YOU should have Malik & Chad train employees on a corporate level because they’re it. They have it. Thank you Malik & Chad for giving us faith in friendly service...
Read moreI used to go to this Starbucks every day and I used the Mobile app and my order was always ready. For the last week, my order wasn’t ready, didn’t go through, or just took forever. Today was the last straw. I ordered decaf on the mobile app 30 mins before leaving my house, when I got to the Starbucks my order was not ready. I waited 10 mins before asking if my order was received and the cashier said yes, she was about to make it and it would take 5 mins. 30 mins later my coffee still was not ready and they literally took multiple other orders and made all of those orders first. After 40 mins of waiting I finally went ask how much longer it would be and the lady said she didn’t even start making it yet. I then told her I needed a refund and could not wait on the coffee any longer. She gave me a refund and a $4 gift card, but it made me so angry. I was waiting just like everyone else and paid my money just like everyone else, but they made everyone else’s orders, but mine. I’m not the only person that had to wait, but waiting an hour and 20 mins after ordering...
