The Original Italian Pie Harahan — Restaurant in Louisiana

I have been ordering and eating at the Italian Pie in Harahan for nearly 20 years. For the most part, my orders and food have been on point. This evening, I received terrible service, which is unusual for this business. First, I paid with gift certificates and was told no change could be given. I kindly tipped the staff the $8 difference as I have been happy in the past. When I got my pizzas and cheesesticks home, the pizza did not contain the ingredients I ordered, and the cheesesticks were cold and hard. The second pizza was fine. I called to be credited for my next order for the add ons that I did not receive. I was told that no one could help me, and there was no manager available to speak to. Then the girl on the phone said she was pretty sure the toppings were on the pizza. I assured her they were not and even offered to send a picture of the pizza. She then said the cook said he thinks he put them on there. I asked, "Why the heck would I be calling if the order were right????" This was the worst experience I have had at the Italian Pie. When I asked the girl on the phone for her name or employee number, she said she could give me no information. I asked her to have someone call me and was told I would have to call back sometime later in the week that she didn't know when a manager would be back in the store. If my business was being run this poorly by an incapable staff, I would have a manager there at ALL times....

I’ve been to this restaurant numerous times, and I haven’t had any problems until the last two visits. The first problem I had when I went there was that the bottom of the pizza was soggy. I asked for a new pizza to be made, and they made me a new one, but cut it up in so many different ways that I no longer wanted the pizza. I asked for a refund because I was a paying customer, so I wanted what I was paying for. I stopped going there for a while, then on May 24th, I ordered another pizza, this time piled with cheese and SOGGY at the bottom again, fresh out of the oven! Why is it soggy coming out of the oven?!?!? I no longer wanted the pizza because why is the same thing happening over and over again? I got a refund because I didn’t want to pay for a soggy pizza. Fast forward to later that night, around 10:00 p.m., and I received a phone call from an employee, who told me I was no longer allowed to place an order at this store location because she and her manager had a discussion and said it would be best for me not to place an order. It was an employee, not the manager. What gives them the right to call me so late at night when I placed my order earlier in the day? I didn’t plan on coming back anywho NOT because I was told but because of the...

NOT WORTH THE PRICE...for starters I had a craving for some shrimp pasta so I came across this place and from what I saw in the photo the pasta I ordered looked very delicious and not only did I have to wait way over an hour for it to get here the people I talked to about information for my order gave me the run around acting like they didn't know anything only telling me id receive a text once it's on the way to which by the way I never got a text about it but finally after what felt like yeasts years of waiting it finally came and my excitement completely instantly turned into full blown disappointment.. the pasta was nothing like the picture online it was described as to having large shrimp whole pieces of broccoli smaller looking noodles with mushroom and a few other things and I wanna see how to post a photo of it cuz y'all would trip out ... it not only had very small baby shrimp but there's no broccoli and bigger thicker noodles and had no taste what so ever was not worth 22$ ... never ordering...
