I never write reviews because nothing has ever been so good or bad that I've felt the need to, but this was truly the WORST experience I've had trying to literally just pick up food I already ordered. I ordered through doordash and saw the instructions said to go through the drive-through when inside the restaurant was closed so that's what I did. There were only 2 cars in front of me and I patiently waited to get up to the mic. I waited at the mic for a few minutes and no one greeted me, so I wasn't sure if someone was there or if it was necessary to wait in the first place since I already preordered on the app and was just picking up. I figured because I already ordered and paid I could just find out when I got up to the window. SILLY ME! Once I FINALLY got up to the window and stated that I was picking up a doordash order that was supposedly ready, the person in the window immediately caught an attitude with me and told me I had to go back around through the drive through AGAIN and wait for someone to come on the mic because there is only 2 of them working. I told her that I did wait at the mic already and my order was already ready and she refused to listen to me until I went back around. This doesn't seem very efficient in a situation where you're supposedly short staffed? I was not trying to break the rules I was just genuinely confused since I waited so long and knew that I didn't need to order in person. There is also not a single other person in the drive-through (gee, I wonder why that could be?!) so this is just genuinely an absurd request, BUT I was trying to be understanding of her situation. I understand that being understaffed can be tough, so I humor her and go around for a second time since she wants to play it that way. I get to the mic and it's the woman I just spoke to at the window and she asks me what I want. I then informed her that I already ordered and was simply just trying to pick up my food. THEN she tells me she doesn't have my order and tries to tell me that I'm at the wrong location (I was not) and that I had ordered from the other Veterans location. She asks for the restaurant's address on my app and I tell her it's showing this location on Veterans and Carrolton(the cross street) and she says no this is the one on Veterans...Like yeah girl that's what I just said. So I go back and forth with her until I just give up and put my order in with her to finally end my suffering. Not only did she pull her little stunt, but she also lost my order/never put it in in the first place and then had the AUDACITY to try to convince me that I was the one that made the mistake. Sorry to break it to you, but you are simply just not good at your job and trying to lie instead of owning up to your mistakes is just embarrassing for you. I know no one is going to read this novel, but in conclusion I am never EVER ordering...
Read moreHadn't been here in while, and the Wife wanted the Corn and Crab Soup or whatever it was. I was indifferent as it's more expensive hat I like to pay, but thought why not. They had stuff on the menu for our kids, they had the Chicken Tenders with a side of Mac and Cheese and overall it was a good experience. We didn't wait long, the food was good, all parties were satisfied. So because of this good experience we went back again not 2 weeks later and I wish we hadn't. First off the wait was an hour, so we almost didn't bother (wish we hadn't), but they did have a booth by the bar, so we snatched it up. We didn't expect the royal treatment service-wise as we were sat at the bar, and we got exactly that, the bare minimum of attention. But that wasn't the issue on this visit, on this visit the first issue came when kids kids started screaming that their mouths and throat were on fire. They tend to overreact so we told them to just have a drink, but they kept it up and sure enough they were justified. The Chicken Tenders were loaded with spice. This certainly wasn't the case last time. The waitress said they toss the tenders in buffalo seasoning (really?). Last time they were fine and this time you toss ALL your chicken in buffalo spice? She said they could remake the chicken without the spice but it may take a while. It did. Their food didn't come back out until we all almost done. My Wife's usual Corn and Crab (I wanna say Bisque?) came out and it was missing something... It was missing most of the corn and the crab! You know what it wasn't missing? SPICE! She was going to complain, but was also very hungry and because our waitress was waitressing the 1% we doubt we'd see her for a while. On to my food, while it wasn't terrible, it was not as nice as the previous visit. Once again though the heavy handed spice merchant reared it's head as my burger was extra spicy this time. We reluctantly paid for our food and boxed up the kids chicken and left knowing full well we wouldn't not be back...
Read moreThis Wendy’s is the worst Wendy’s I’ve ever been to. It’s close to our house and my toddler loves their nuggets, so despite the many horrible experiences, we keep going (probably because we also love the drama). Also, we only ever use the drive through.
They don’t show your order on the screen when you use drive through to confirm your order. This is problematic because they will undoubtedly get your order wrong. They also don’t give you a receipt, and will gaslight you into thinking you’re wrong about what you ordered. They’ll huff and puff when you ask them to correct. They will also side eye you when you take the time to check everything in your order.
One time I got a baconator that was cold and stale. I bit into it and immediately thought I was going to contract ecoli because it tasted so off.
One time I bit into a nugget and chomped onto a hard piece of blue plastic. I submitted a picture to corporate but have yet to receive word back about this.
One time I noticed one of my 2, 10-piece nuggets was missing, I told the attendant it was missing- she said “no it’s there” and like an idiot I believed her (it was a big order). When I got home- it was not, in fact there.
One time I drove through the drive though and no one was taking orders. As I drove past I did not see any workers, but did see a bunch of people waiting in the Wendy’s.
Writing it all out, I probably shouldn’t return. My toddler had moved on to liking Canes now, which is convenient because it’s right next to...
