A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Louisville

The food wasn't great, the gentleman behind the counter was a nice enough person, but the register appeared broken and wouldn't close properly. When I sat down to wait for my food, the floor was either so badly designed or so dirty with grease that my feet literally would not stay under me. I don't really have the words to describe it, but my feet slid when I leaned back in the chair. I ordered an extra serving of hush puppies and did not receive them, which in itself is not a crime, everyone is human and therefore mistakes happen, but when I went back inside to explain that the math didn't add up where the hushpuppies were concerned, he said "I can throw a few extra in there for you." And he did so, which was great, but there was no apology given and no accountability either. The prices were different from what was listed online, which again, isn't a crime, but the food is terribly expensive and just absolutely not worth the money. I have been here 5 times. Yes, gave them the benefit of the doubt x 5… perhaps that was my mistake. Typically would just go for a Root Beer Float…. You know? The item that differentiates A&W…. Easy enough right?

Well, not so much for this location. I understand right now people don’t want to work hard or even work at all! But come on… it’s not that hard!! Out of the 5 times I went, I only got serviced twice. Between not having ice cream, or a machine, or personnel, or being randomly closed in the middle of business hours… really don’t know how this place is still in business…
