Lorenzo’s Corner Pizza & Pub — Restaurant in Louisville

If there were an option for no stars, that'd be more appropriate for this place. I can't speak on their "barroom service",but this is the 5th or 6th HORRIBLE (bad would be an understatement) experience on the food end. I called BEFORE ordering to inquire about the wait time for a simple pizza and was told,"we're good! There's no wait." so I walked in and ordered just one simple pizza. Well after being told there were no other orders and it'd be right up,we STILL waited for over an hour and a half before deciding to leave to go get a drink at the gas station down the road. Don't let me forget the part that the lady kept repeating that my food was almost done. Tack on another 20 minutes or more and I finally got the pizza. The cup of parmesan cheese that was give to me was not even a teaspoon full,same story with the crushed red peppers,yet oddly enough every other cup that was premade had been nearly full. Did I mention that you could've got a better tasting pizza from dirty ol little Caesars? I would NOT recommend this place for food unless maybe you're tore down drunk and can't walk straight...then it may be a...

I work at ford and went on break at 12 a.m. and wanted food so I looked up what was open near me and the internet said this place was open till 1a.m. so I called to place an order sinces they was such a nice business for supporting us during our past strike but my opinion soon changed. After calling and double checking to see if they was still serving food just to be respectful the lady that answers says idk let me check and clear as day I could here her and after was I heard I will never support them. I'm guessing she asked the cook if they was still serving food but I couldn't here the cooks response but all I heard was her say " it's your choice" then repeatedly said " just say no, just say no, just say no" I have never at here other then the free pizza during strike but I will absolutely never even attempt to go here again. That was the most disappointing thing I ever heard and will not ever give them my business or will never tell anyone to go there a day in my life. Completely uncalled for and...

I ordered carryout and arrived at the time it was supposed to be ready. I checked in and was told the pizza would be right out. 15 minutes went by, so I requested an update. The bartender came back and stated the pizza hadn't been started. She apologized and asked if I'd still like the pizza but I declined.

There was another patron that was disgruntled with his order while I was waiting. I didn't catch what the issue was, but he gave the food back and got a refund.

This was a very disappointing experience. Overall the establishment has positive reviews. If the manager or owner reads this post, this occurred on 7/26/2019 from 8:30 - 8:45 p.m. Hopefully you read this and address with your staff to avoid repeat issues.
