I purchased a rear windshield wiper for my car. I initially went to the other location about 2.5 miles away from here on Westport rd.The employee helped me but told me that they were sold out of the wiper blade I needed. He looked up the available replacement blades at other locations even though his location was stating he had 7 in stock. He did not check the back but automatically sent me to this location 11325 West Port rd. I arrived and Hayden was helping me find the wiper blade I needed. I purchased it and went out front to try and remove my old blade and install my new one. Clearly I was having trouble with replacing my new wiper blade and without me having to ask Hayden came over and helped me install my new wiper blade. Hayden was fantastic and provided me with exceptional customer service. I do see a problem with the other location sending me to this store without even looking in the back for more blades. I saw on his screen that he had 7 in stock. He told me that the system is wrong and never right. I wanted someone to know that one store is doing a fantastic service but the other one could use some work. Why not update your inventory page to properly reflect your actual stock. Most people would have just gone to Wal-Mart at this point because I was sent to a different location right next to Walmart. Not having your inventory set up correctly can and will cost you money...
Read moreAs the other poster has said, avoid this AZ at all cost, if you just want to buy a key chain or something it will take you 20 minutes, it is ridiculous. I had a part go bad on me under warranty, had to go here b/c they were the only one close who had the part, but I was dreading it. I hoped for the best thinking maybe something has changed, but sure enough when I got there it took almost 30 minutes to get my part. I stood in line for forever which is ridiculous but these guys think answering the telephone is more important than paying customers for some reason. I finally get to the counter and the manager is the one helping me (I use that term loosely) and b/c someone at AZ screwed up my receipt or something it took forever to make an "exchange". The real reason is probably they just don't want to warranty their stuff but I digress. But the most irritating thing that he did, and ALWAYS see him and others do is he kept answering the phone!?!? Ok fine, answer it and say "can you please hold", but noooooooooooooooo he has to talk with them for 10 minutes about stupid stuff, it was infuriating. This guy is laughable as a manager, I hate to say that but he should be removed from that position, get a clue guy and help the paying customers that you have waiting in ridiculous lines! I hope to avoid this AZ at all cost...
Read moreI love this place! It is always clean and organized and they know their stuff! As a female you sometimes feel like people may try to take advantage of you when it comes to cars but auto zone is always honest, upright and straight to the point and they replace your parts without charging you labor and their prices are extremely reasonable! Every associate I have ever encountered has always been very knowledgeable and very nice! They really seem to love their job! They are always very happy to assist!! I always feel very comfortable when I go to auto zone because I know they won't try to take advantage of me. I went to have one of my head lights replaced on my 2013 GMC Terrain and they found that the other 1 was almost burned out and they replaced them both for less than $35 in less than 10 minutes AND in the rain but still had a smile on his face!! Lol! Not trying to throw any shade at GMC but I know they would have charged me over a $100 or more and I would have had to of made an appointment and wait a whole lot longer!...
