PRP Ice Cream Corner — Restaurant in Louisville

I use to like this place. I had given it 5 stars . Today changed all that.. The owner is very rude and disrespectful. Just by the look on his face it was clear my race was a problem to him. The people working for him are nice. The owner feels since he owns the place he can talk to his customers any way he feels. I will not be back. We were in line ( the line was in the parking lot) and he wanted to park in a spot that is not a parking spot( we were standing in front of a no parking spot) . We didn't know he was the owner, and said "this is a no parking area" . He said "Today it is and I park were I want because I'm the owner"' it's not what he said but how he said it. When I questioned his rude behavior I was told "I own the place and I shouldn't have said anything " I had my child with me and he could have cared less. To be the owner you need better customer service. He made it clear that my race was a problem my review is not...

I've lived around here for a while and finally popped into PRP Ice Cream Corner a few weeks ago. It was an okay experience with some definite highlights! Just a heads-up, there can be a bit of a line to order, so be prepared to wait a little. The folks working there were alright, but the service could be a tad more zippy or attentive. Now, for the not-so-great part: the seating area could use some love. It wasn't the cleanest, and the trash cans were overflowing a bit. Hopefully, they'll get that sorted out! Who doesnt love PRP ice cream?? A must have at least once in your life. Best ice cream I've ever had. I cant say I've tried anything other than the southern butter pecan!! Words cant describe how perfect it really is! My recent visit we got a superman ice cream kids cup, my butter pecan cup, and a oreo mixer-like a blizzard but SOOO much better. You actually get oreos in your ice cream here!!! Heard the orange dream cone is amazing and their chili dogs looked yummy. Theres a ordering window to the right and a pick up window to the left. They have a little covered picnic area with tables. Parking is kinda annoying at times bc the lot is so small. Theres a circle k across the street that people often park and cross the street.
