Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Louisville

One Star is really being GENEROUS! This location has the WORST service and accuracy of any restaurant I've ever visited. The sign out front always says "Under New Management" and you get reeled back in to try again cause of course we all love their product, but nothing changes. Several times I have been asked to pull over and they'll bring my food out cause they're waiting on chicken...which means you're lucky if you get your food 30minutes later and your probably going to have to go inside to get it then. Then if you are brave enough to go in BEWARE! They are lacking in the Customer Service department and don't appear to employ anyone with a bit of common sense...and no matter when you go there they say "it'll be 12min we're waiting on chicken". REALLY!!! This is a CHICKEN FAST FOOD place they should not be making to order. I have wrote several complaints to Popeyes and have NEVER received even a call apologizing. The last time I went there they sent me home without my chicken (YES, I was guilty of not checking the box before I left, but I just wanted to get out of the madness after waiting 45min inside and I never would have thought of all things the chicken would be missing)...just gave me a box of fries! I would have expected the fries to be missing, but the CHICKEN! I tried calling and they refused to answer the phone. I would not suggest ANYONE waste your money at Popeyes especially...

Went to the drive thru to order and the employee didn’t know anything about the menu or what was on special. They are currently advertising a $20 MORE BOX 📦 and it’s on their window and on the menu of the drive thru. This used to be a great place but I can’t explain why they have fallen off the past few times I have visited. There’s too many other places that are out there fighting for YOUR BUSINESS and I don’t think Popeye’s deserves a dime of anyone’s money at least not this location. The grass hasn’t even been cut out front either. I enjoy Popeye’s Food but it’s not worth going through this nonsense and if it closes so be it I’ll drive to Preston Hwy because I’m not going to be made to feel like I am inconveniencing the restaurant staff by showing up to order food from there. KFC is too greasy and their staff has chased away customers too. Arby’s down the road has terrible customer service and management as well . Jack N The Box disrespected the neighborhood when it opened up by blocking the side street and clogging up the parking lot. Popeyes, one of our preferred fast-food chains, typically meets our expectations in terms of quality.

However, during our recent visit to this establishment, the managerial challenges were apparent. Witnessing a group of youngsters acting irresponsibly, messing up orders, and disrespecting fellow coworkers in the presence of customers was disheartening.

On a hygiene note, observing individuals with exceptionally long, unsecured hair in the food preparation area raised concerns about food safety protocols. Such practices, though acceptable in some locales, seem questionable.

Furthermore, a number of drive-thru customers returned due to incorrect orders. This implies a lapse in comprehension and attentiveness among some staff members, as accurate order fulfillment should be fundamental.

Regrettably, a significant oversight was evident in terms of hygiene practices. Gloves do not replace proper handwashing procedures, and it became evident as we experienced gastrointestinal discomfort following our visit.
