Smoothie King — Restaurant in Louisville

I received an açaí bowl with coconut flakes all over it last week and due to a slight coconut allergy and complete dislike for the taste of coconut I was unable to eat the bowl. I called immediately and was told they would replace and take care of it the next time I came. Here I am today and they are saying my name isn’t in the recovery book, I wasn’t aware I needed to write down or store whomevers name I spoke to because they asked for mine and assured me it would be taken care of. I can’t help but to notice the young girl at the window is in fact the same girl who handed me my bowl the weekend prior and also the female who answered the phone when I called today. I live 20 miles away and only visit this because I work nearby, I wouldn’t have got up on this Saturday morning and drove across town to swindle a bowl of fruit… I wasn’t asked for my receipt or anything the female just shut me down and said “welp it’s not in the book” in a cold manner. I asked if someone could find out which manager was here last Saturday and she told me they were too busy, even though there were zero cars inside the drive thru and no customers inside the store. I feel like black people are stereotyped a lot, I’m not sure if it’s the box braids , color of my skin etc. that’s the only difference I notice and this is a predominately white area of town. I’m completely dissatisfied with the service I received today, I don’t like how I was spoken to, and I dislike visiting this smoothie king and will tell others as well. Our family loves smoothie king. We used to go to the one in st Matthews but this one is much closer. We have spent $150.00 as a family of 5 just this month going here despite the MANY ISSUES AND UNPROFESSIONALISM. The card machine NEVER WORKS, they close BEFORE closing time. I never get my reward points because the scanner doesn’t work. They told me I can scan receipts on app but I can’t. They blast very inappropriate music, I’ve seen 2 cars drive off while waiting for smoothies because of this. There’s a bunch of young boys who work there and are very rude and mumble everything. They always mess up on our order giving us smaller smoothies than what we paid for. They told my husband there card machine was broke again at 8:40 so he went to stockyard bank next door and went back and they told him they close now at 8:30 then all started laughing inside. They didn’t take our order. We were next door at canes chicken the next day and seen the young workers at the window without shirts on. These young boys need to be fired or need some serious training and some type of management present ( I would hope none of them are managers the way they act) this location will not last long if it continues to be ran this way. We have dealt with this mess for far too long just because we love the smoothies but enough is enough. They will no longer get our business. We spend FAR too much money there to deal with this absolute ignorance. These workers are running this nice brand new establishment into the ground...
