Wasn't HAPPY at all!! Weirdest time! -COLD WAFFLE, BUTTER COULD NOT MELT -DIRTY PLACE -VERY YOUNG UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF (25 UNDER)
Ms. OWEN was our server. She complained about her life and job quite a bit. I offered her a job, but she was only 18..
Ms. Nicole (TEAM LEAD) was great and a great listener to Ms. Owen's problems.
Mr. Yong(COOK) was a GREAT cook!! He was very polite and very professional..
Ms. Owen delivered my dark, cold waffles without butter or silverware (as shown in pic). After several requests, she delivers butter PLASTICwear and water. Later, I received syrup.
Bexause my food was so cold, I asked Owen, "Did they have a microwave?" She said yes, but it's in the back locked up.. But when you get home, you can heat up your waffles..
WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
I yelled!! "No, YOU WILL BRING ME A HOT WAFFLE!!"
OWEN: Regular or Pecan? Whewww
She did bring a hot waffle and 2 to go syrups
Just as we were finishing, Leslie started cleaning and mopping up the floor (LOUD -STRONG BLEACH smell), then asked us to RISE UP OUR FEET, SO HE CAN MOP under us.......WTH!!!
We said politely, "No thanks!"
As you see in the photo, it's 2 WAFFLE House employees sitting down. The floors are nasty with trash.. the table was clean (which means that server had to notice the nasty floor) Notice empty chairs (wasn't too busy to clean the place)
Went to pay, and our tickets were wrong (you dont see your ticket until you're ready to check out) .. Was overcharged, and both orders were together. On top of that, the registrar was down. NOW I'm High off loud-strong bleach, which cause me to have a headache.
This place used to be so great!! Don't come after 7 pm. Ms. Owen/my server suggested. Especially if you don't want plastic/to go as dishes. Along with plasticwear.
I do NOT recommend this place...

Read moreI suppose I'm a glutton for punishment for coming to this location but it is the most convenient. Next time I'll just drive into Indiana for Waffle House. The girl with the bull ring working here on nights is quite possibly the rudest human being to ever haunt this planet. Don't want to greet a customer? That's fine, it's late, I get it I work nights too. But when a customer can't hear you because you won't look at them and speak up over the traffic that the to go window faces that doesn't mean you can snap at them. I tried to order a grilled cheese and she mumbled while looking away, I said "excuse me?" And got a nasty "you want this or this for the bread?!" I simply said "however it comes," as I've never been asked that in any Waffle House and I've been eating at them for two decades between Florida and here. I get a curt snap back of "that's what I'm telling you! It comes either way!" Ok, white bread I guess. It really isn't necessary to get an attitude with a customer just trying to order food and leave. This isn't my first encounter with her, as she was extremely rude to my family when it was snowing and said we'd have to wait to order, outside, in the snow. I gave a chance, perhaps she was having a bad day. But no, she's just insufferably rude. The grilled cheese was fine, but the bacon was completely burnt along with the hash browns. Simply never again, I'll go to New Albany or just wait for one of the fast food joints on Cane Run to open back up...
