There just aren’t any words - even for the savviest of wordsmiths to offer that would prepare you for what you’ll find here at Weekend Burgers. You’ll enter, expecting a delicious - but safe, “run of the mill” type of sandwich but that’s exactly what you won’t find here; instead, you’ll find a cozy American classic waiting to be discovered by every curious passerby. The atmosphere is peaceful and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger with (initially) cheese-covered “flats”, or flat-cut fries which are definitely a must-try (I had chili added after being heavily persuaded by the individual I was dining with) and I’ll never imagine having them any other way. Flavor was spot-on and my visit was extremely satisfying. I highly recommend visiting. I’ve found my favorite burger.

I’ve been to Weekend Burgers now 4-5 times since it’s opening 3 weeks ago. The consistency of quality has been there every time. Granted, I’m the type of person that gets hooked on 1 item and I tend to re-order that 1 thing again and again. So to that end, the burgers are awesome. Always cooked to order and fresh and the sauce is amazing. You know you have a good burger when you bite into it and that beautiful sauce leaks out. Also, the tots are my go-to side here. Always good! I’m glad we have a great restaurant in the southend and I look forward to sampling some of the desserts (splits, ice cream, shakes, etc.) when the weather warms up a bit. However, I’m sure it will all be consistently good, quality food.

I've been hearing about Week-End Burgers for quite a while, and I finally made it out there. I ordered a patty melt and fries. The burger was very good and very very cheesy. The only thing I would have preferred is rye bread instead of the texas toast they use. Patty melts need rye. The fries were shoestring cut and cooked to a nice brown, and lightly salted. If you're one of those people that salt things before they taste it - to see how much more salt they're going to put on it - you might want to ask for some salt packets. (My co-diner was a bit disappointed in the portion size.) They have ketchup -and- mustard at the table; which is brilliant.

I have to say If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

When I came here for the first time and I tried to pay the bill my card and bank had a malfunction. Times are tough. That was all the money to the penny left on my card.

When I paid for the food, the bank took my money and put it on hold. I had to wait 7 days for the hold to drop to get the money back meaning they didn't get their money either.

They were patient with me and communicative. I got my food that day still.

I was able to come back 7 days later when it got taken off hold and pay the bill.

They sent me a gift card simply for paying the bill that I owed.

All it takes is a little bit of kindness to make someone's month. You never know what someone's going through.

Outside of the patience and kindness received from this resturaunt their food is a 10/10.

They even have a spot where you can purchase someone in needs meal in advance.

If you're looking for great food, honest people & good service this place...

I first ate at Week-End Burgers when it was on a food truck. Matter of fact I ate from this food truck several times The Burgers have always been flavorful, well made and worth the trip to where ever they parked. Plus that Eclair cake is so damn good. Customer service has always been excellent and far better then any chain.

Some food trucks attempt to make the journey to a brick and mortar site and few succeed. When it was posted Week-End Burgers was making that trip we could hardly wait.

Week-End Burgers successfully made the transition to a free standing site. The burgers are still excellent. The Eclair cakes are even better, try the Strawberry cake and you will understand. They have expanded the menu; added Chili Dogs, soups, baked potatoes, ice cream.

If I want a gourmet meal I am not going to Week-End Burgers but if I want a damn good burger, fries and dessert I am making the trip to Week-End Burgers.

PS. I love the candy pieces in the...

Recently visited this establishment on a weekend birthday trip for my brother. Terrific food in an otherwise unassuming strip-mall located close to downtown Louisville. Neat avant garde atmosphere with a steady stream of customers filing in, many on a first name basis with staff and vice-versa. Had a triple smashed cheeseburger which was very flavorful loaded with fresh veggies encased in a wax cover to keep any grease or burger fixings off any clothes or floor. Reminded me of Dyers in Memphis. Chili-cheese fries were savory with a bit of spice. Had a vanilla eclair for dessert which was the highlight of this special meal. Homemade with whipped cream layered between wafer like dough. The owner came out to greet us at the end. All in all, a memorable experience celebrating my brother's 50th birthday. If we ever make it to Louisville, we'll be back...
