I have to say If I could give this place 10 stars I would.
When I came here for the first time and I tried to pay the bill my card and bank had a malfunction. Times are tough. That was all the money to the penny left on my card.
When I paid for the food, the bank took my money and put it on hold. I had to wait 7 days for the hold to drop to get the money back meaning they didn't get their money either.
They were patient with me and communicative. I got my food that day still.
I was able to come back 7 days later when it got taken off hold and pay the bill.
They sent me a gift card simply for paying the bill that I owed.
All it takes is a little bit of kindness to make someone's month. You never know what someone's going through.
Outside of the patience and kindness received from this resturaunt their food is a 10/10.
They even have a spot where you can purchase someone in needs meal in advance.
If you're looking for great food, honest people & good service this place...
Read moreI first ate at Week-End Burgers when it was on a food truck. Matter of fact I ate from this food truck several times The Burgers have always been flavorful, well made and worth the trip to where ever they parked. Plus that Eclair cake is so damn good. Customer service has always been excellent and far better then any chain.
Some food trucks attempt to make the journey to a brick and mortar site and few succeed. When it was posted Week-End Burgers was making that trip we could hardly wait.
Week-End Burgers successfully made the transition to a free standing site. The burgers are still excellent. The Eclair cakes are even better, try the Strawberry cake and you will understand. They have expanded the menu; added Chili Dogs, soups, baked potatoes, ice cream.
If I want a gourmet meal I am not going to Week-End Burgers but if I want a damn good burger, fries and dessert I am making the trip to Week-End Burgers.
PS. I love the candy pieces in the...
Read moreRecently visited this establishment on a weekend birthday trip for my brother. Terrific food in an otherwise unassuming strip-mall located close to downtown Louisville. Neat avant garde atmosphere with a steady stream of customers filing in, many on a first name basis with staff and vice-versa. Had a triple smashed cheeseburger which was very flavorful loaded with fresh veggies encased in a wax cover to keep any grease or burger fixings off any clothes or floor. Reminded me of Dyers in Memphis. Chili-cheese fries were savory with a bit of spice. Had a vanilla eclair for dessert which was the highlight of this special meal. Homemade with whipped cream layered between wafer like dough. The owner came out to greet us at the end. All in all, a memorable experience celebrating my brother's 50th birthday. If we ever make it to Louisville, we'll be back...
