Over a month ago I had an extremely bad experience with this Papa Johns location. The driver couldn't find our house which is easy to find even without GPS and then she called us from her car and told us to come outside and walk down the street to the location that she had stopped at to call to get our order. When we did she had forgotten our drink order. 45min later she called saying she was on her way with the drinks and to meet her outside to get them. We live in an easily accessible and safe neighborhood so there was no reason for her to request this. In addition we had to go to the store to purchase soda for our party as it took her almost an hour to bring the missing drink order. I recounted the experience via their survey online and was contacted by the manager "Derek" via email asking for an explaination of what happened. I again recounted the experience and got no apology and no response. I kept RE-replying to his email with no response. Finally a week ago I went to the Papa Johns website and gave them negative feedback and recounted once again what happened only including Derek's lack of customer service skills. I got an email from a "Mark Slone" saying he was Derek's boss and apologizing for the experience and promising he would speak with Derek and offering his email as a coupon for our next movie night. We thought this was nice but Understandably, we were hesitant to actually use the email because of the poor service prior and also...how do you use an email as a coupon??? So I replied thanking him for his response and asked how we would use the email as a coupon if we did decide to use them again for our movie night pizza order. No response. Thinking he was probably busy and giving everyone the benefit of the doubt we called this evening to place an order and explained the email situation. "Derek" was put on the phone by a very unfriendly worker and said, "Mark is my boss so I HAVE to do what he says. that's where we are on this. But you have to pay the delivery and drink charge." No apology of any kind. This management chain has no concept of customer service. An apology and maybe a refund for my original drink order would have been adequate. Read moreOrdered Stuff Crust Pepperoni Pizza . Which was half way decent .. Noticed i had a free baked pan cookie as well so i ordered it on a totally different transaction. When i received the food the boxes were very hot which had me thinking the food was fresh as well. Got home which is about 5 mins from here and noticed the pan cookie was OVERCOOKED .. but was ready soon as i placed the order... Why rush anything and lower the quality of the product. People now days are so much in a rush to get to their phones than to do the job their paid to do.. which is to make pizzas and other food items with quality in mind not necessarily quantity.. Called to advise them of the situation and was offered what was already free? Seems redundant and the customer service seemed bewildered that i even called back and was like ooooo.. yeah... I remember that order? HOW? If your making 100's of pizzas? Its because you INTENTIONALLY BURNED IT because you noticed it was free.. People are given the same service when they apply coupons to big time fast food chains... Free LARGE fries with your order... But when redeemed, fries are old and or the amount given is visibly less than a true large.. Read moreI just ordered a delivery for a large sausage pizza with extra cheese from here. Says it was delivered but it never was. I'm 9 months pregnant and waited close to 40 mins for this, now I'm beyond frustrated and starving.
Went to check on my order in the app and saw the driver was 3 minutes away. I unlocked my porch and made sure the dogs were inside with me. Refreshed and it said the driver was now 4 minutes away. I hit refresh again and it said my pizza was delivered by Jeffrey. My camera never went off that someone came here but I still went to check the front porch and outside - no pizza. Called the office right away and told them the situation. They transferred me to a manager right away who said the driver told them that they delivered it. They definitely did not and if they can see the Papa tracker as me, they can see that the driver never even came to my neighborhood. They said they could make another pizza but I just asked for a refund instead. The manager said they can do that. I have no idea when I'll see the refund and I didn't get an email or anything about getting a refund.
I'm so upset that they didn't truly look into this because this driver never came here. This is my last straw with Papa John's. The delivery fees were already getting excessive. My recommendation to anyone who continues to order from here, especially this location, don't select a no...
