Semi-dated but dependable.
Cons: There's very little seating for spectators and I'm not speaking figuratively, either. There's little plastic chairs like you'd see in an elementary school and little round tables about knee high. There's sufficient room for people to maneuver but it's just different, so be prepared. The bathrooms aren't well marked either and it took me forever to find the men's room, which is down a hallway by the pro-shop that looks like it's for employees only. Their house ball selection also seems limited when compared to other houses.
Pros: New lane monitors that are touchscreen, so it's easy to re-rack or call for service. The lanes are AMF and seems to be in great shape, plus to my knowledge, there wasn't a single mechanical issue while I was there for a tournament. Everything seemed to run smooth for everyone up and down as far as I could see during the tournament.
I can't really speak to the food or the pro shop, but it smelled great and the shop seems moderately stocked. I also can't speak on the quality of the bar.
This is likely a great alley for a night out with friends or family, but birthday parties may be a little bit trickier.

Read moreWhere do I start I bowl here about 2 times a week just because it's close to home so this is the best review you're gonna read ...1)the lanes SUCK can't remember the last time I played a game that didn't need at least 2 lane sweeps 2) the shoes are falling apart 3) it smells like cigs 4) music??? 5) out of every bowling alley in Louisville it's literally the most dated one ..It literally looks like you're in the 50s why don't they just sale it to an owner that actually cares about the place and actually wants to compete with other bowling alleys this place needs to be on a show like bar rescue but for bowling alleys!! The graphics on the overhead with our scores and photos was cool. Upon leaving the older lady, who we were bring our rented shoes to, wasn't very friendly. Just pointed to the counter, as if annoyed, when asked where we put our shoes. Too tired to speak or smile. 1 star reduction because of her. Otherwise was very nice being back...
