Went to Sonic today and ordered a hotdog, fries and a grape slush ( as well as another dog and ORs) Asked for them to put the ketchup mustard and relish under the hot dog cause they are pretty messy when they put it on top. They asked if I wanted any sauce and I asked for ketchup packs. When the food came we pulled into an empty stall to eat. The hot dog toppings were all on top. I tried to take a bite and found that one side of the bun was so hard it crunched. Put it down and found a big blob of mustard on my shirt. One of the hardest stains to get out. I pushed the button and explained the hot dog issue and that they forgot the ketchup pks. The girl said "we're really busy. What do you want me to do about it?" I was pretty disgusted, said 'nothing' . Dumped it all in the trash and left. I should not have to tell her what to do. She should have enough sense to know what to do...offer to replace it? apologize? You never tell a customer you're busy and what do you want them to do. Thats dumping restaurant issues in the customers lap. Its not the customers fault that its busy, that your quality control doesnt measure up and that your staff doesnt pay attention to customer requests. Thats the last visit to my favorite fast food and ice cream spot. 1 bad experience will send a customer with a legitimate issue away for the last time. This location has so many bad reviews They need to do a whole lot more than use the same auto response. that means nothing to people but does tell them the customer is completely unimportan. Just reading them shocked me. the new owner here has a very bad reputation because hes not involved and allows this to continue, over and over.Fast food has gotten too expensive for many people to even go nowadays. Bad service, poor management and an owner who does nothing along with bad quality and a very poor response from an employee is completely unacceptable. I paid $22 for 2 hotdogs, 2 large drinks, fries and onion rings. You should be able to expect decent food quality and respectful and good customer service. You should not get the same exact response that the 100 other reviews got, that the owner did nothing about. At least you know that they will be doing nothing about your concerns right up front. Just so management knows..the guy at the window was great and my grape slush was yummy the rest of the order was fine. Half of an order correct just doesnt cut it. Do you not realize that our community does not trust Sonic to provide...
Read moreFirst, I want to say that I am a local franchise owner down the street from this restaurant. I do not like or want to write negative reviews because I understand the impact on the business. However, after my family's experience today, 3/28/2021, I just have to.
Second, I will through out a positive. I got the no. 10, friend chicken sandwich. The spice in the batter hit the spot. I was trying to find that spice and found it. That said, both tots orders were undercooked.
Now we'll get into it. We were at stall 25. The screen was stuck on some Oreo screen. I couldn't tell that I successfully pushed the button. The employee had a hard time hearing us and I do not know if this is when the original mistake happened. The boys' orders were supposed get the whacky meal with CHEESE burgers, ketchup only. There was no cheese. Because it could have been my mistake--who knows because it was to hard to order--we ordered two kid burgers. Guess what we got. Yep, two more burgers without cheese.
Other things to point out: 1) order number one for all of us didn't include napkins, ketchup, or mints. 2) The supposed correct order did include those three things, but it took forever for the reorder to come to us. Wouldn't you think they'd become the most important order? 3) Where those even cherry limeades? My wife knows from experience how to make cherry limeades. She obviously detected the Sprite and cherry juice. She did not detect the lime juice, nor the squeeze of lime from the actual lime. We didn't get a wedge of lime and I don't remember the last time any of us got cherries.
Our kids were so mad. Six and Nine year old boys have declared that we are never going to eat at a Sonic again. We presume our local Longmont store is also owned by the same people/entity. We will not being eating at that Sonic, neither will we eat at any in Northern...
Read moreI really don't like to leave a review like this, especially whenever I have had great experiences in the past with this location. HOWEVER, you might want to ask before you order anything having to do with ice cream whether their machine is "down" or "broken". I ordered two shakes at the stall and was told it would be right out. 20 min later I called again just to make sure it wasn't overlooked, because those things do happen from time to time. The employee said, "Oh yeah it will be right out." 45 minutes later I'm still waiting and it's not busy, so I walked to the door to see if they needed me to come and get them. Two people walked right past me and didn't say a word. Finally, I politely asked if the shakes were giving them a hard time and I was rudely told, " Um, our ice cream machine is out and not working." I said, " Oh man, I wish someone would have told me this 50 min ago when I ordered it or several min ago when I asked about them or even better, informed us if had broken during that time period instead of us wasting that time." To my surprise, he threw his arms up in the air as if I was insulting him and said, " Oh my gosh, I just found out! I had no idea! it's not my fault!" Not once did I place blame on anyone and I'm 99% certain he was just a teenager with hormones flying but the manager should've taken control of that entire situation. So, my point is, heads up: ask if the ice cream machine is working before...
