If you are disabled and must use drizzly or other delivery services, asking the manager here to call, text or email you when a certain favorite comes back in stock, you may as well be asking God for the next set of winning lottery numbers, because they have exactly the same odds of happening. The manager behaves as if he's going through the DTs, and you're keeping him from his next drink. Extremely rude and impatient. He literally said to me, "What do I have to say to you to get you off the phone so I can go back to work?" My reply was,"You just said it brother", and I let him go back to whatever was so important that he treated me that way. Also, I asked to speak to the owner and his reply was "he's not here", I asked when he WOULD be there and his reply was "I have no idea, he comes and goes as he pleases...you know, perks of bring the owner". They do have decent prices and what appears to be a large stock, but as a homebound disabled veteran, I can't give these people my business after being treated like a...
Read moreHow cool is it to be in the middle of the holidays enjoying so much good will and then walking into World Beverage to find that they've gone overboard to make the season even more enjoyable. Two thumbs up! We flew in to Colorado for the week and needed to freshen up the liquor selection. Whatever you need, and whatever your budget, World Beverage gets it done. When I buy spirits, the brand and the price I select are based on the purpose. For undiluted sipping I'll only buy top shelf. But if the product is going to be used as a mixer, I buy low-priced good quality spirits. As an example, picked up a well known name brand of 1.75 liter gin for $12.99! Seriously!? And here's the bonus - World Beverage is providing free face masks to anyone who may have left one at home or in the car or just plain ran out. AND - a complimentary good-sized bottle of hand sanitizer! Employees are friendly and helpful, the store is clean and fully stocked and there's...
Read moreI ordered an expensive bottle of whiskey ($100) for a surprise anniversary gift to my husband. I ordered it for the 2:00-4:00 delivery window (he was gone during this time). 4:00 came around and nothing arrived. I decided to call once it was about 4:15 to see where my order was. I only live about five minutes away from the store. I was told the delivery driver "hadn't seen" my order and was now heading elsewhere, even though my order was in the system. They offered to deliver at 8:00pm. Luckily the boss decided to come deliver it and it was delivered around 4:45. However, it arrived in a brown paper bag even though I paid extra for gift wrap. I was not refunded the delivery charge or the gift wrap charge. Disappointed in the service, as this was a gift and I really live close to the store. It didn't end up as a surprise due to it being late and was not wrapped. I don't know if I would have even gotten the order had I not called. Won't...
