This goes out to anyone who has struggled with a love/hate relationship with technology. Tim Washburn and his amazing employees at Computer Doctors are the most competent, hard working, keenly intelligent and honest specialists in the field. My first experience with them was when hired to teach College Algebra at the University of Phoenix. So much of the planning, grading and interactions were online and my ancient laptop fell short of the needed performance.
My son, Matthew Sprenger, owns a mortgage company, Security Morgage, Inc. After five thriving years in Fort Collins, he decided to move to Denver. All of his computers have been purchased at Computer Doctors. Since his experience with Timâs business had been with highly proficient experts, he decided to hire Computer Doctors for the move. With two servers and complicated extenuating technology, he needed the best of the best which is exactly what Tim Washburn and his employees provided. He was up and running his business the same day of the move with absolutely no glitches. We were all very impressed and grateful.
So when Matt found out my need for a better laptop, he and my daughter purchased one for me from Tim. To say the least my teaching experience was facilitated and improved by the rebuilt computer. After decades of teaching, I have used diverse computers for grading, planning, writing, Blackboard and smart board. The work I did with a very reasonably priced laptop from Computer Doctors was by far the most user-friendly. If I had any issues learning to use new equipment they were supportive, patient, and knowledgeable.
I canât recommend this outstanding business highly enough. It is rare to find such grounded local expertise that is reliable, reasonably priced and high quality. I continue to recommend them to my students in need of the finest equipment and trustworthy businessmen. Thank you for the opportunity to share my experience with such extraordinary professionals.

Every purchase I have made has exceeded all expectations in performance and durability. In addition to my personal experience, my son moved his lucrative business from Fort Collins to Denver in less than one day. Uprooting his invaluable materials was challenging and difficult. His well established company was functioning at capacity the same day. Two servers included crucial data to all his clients. He couldnât have been more pleased with Computer Doctorsâ expertise and resulting operation of all aspects of his pursuit. One of the employees, Tom Hammerschmidt, recently helped me update my laptop. An otherwise stressful decision became an adventure in learning and renovation. Transferring important files would have taken me hours longer without his competent expertise .Appreciation for the value of their products and services is prevalent among all who do business with them. Thank you for this opportunity to share with anyone seeking to work with the finest business people and...
Read moreApproximately 90 days ago my HDD failed, right before my fall semester of 2015 began at CSU. That hard drive had essentially my entire life on it, including every single GoPro video I had ever taken (roughly 400 videos) and every picture I had ever taken, including priceless photos from my deployment.
I desperately went to the Computer Doctors in an effort to save my beloved data, and they told me the best they could do was to attempt to clone the device and copy every single piece of info bit by bit. There was no telling how long it would take, they gave me a ballpark range of 8 hours to 14 days. Seeing no other option, I obliged.
64 long days passed, long days contemplating what to do without all the data that I have acquired over the past 6 years. I was crushed and could not think of how I would cope losing 6 years of my life. Priceless moments gone in the flash of an eye, all that could have been saved had I utilized the free 1 TB cloud storage I had at my disposal. On the 64th day, Computer Doctors informed me that nothing could be recovered.
But something happened during this long process of not having a computer: I survived. I moved on with my life and no matter how hard I thought it would be to get over, I got over it. Time truly does heal everything, and now I cherish what once was with mental imagery rather than physical evidence.
With that being said, today I finally went back with an older hard drive and completely wiped it and with Tom's help we were able to reinstall windows (after jumping through some hoops of fire) and here I am, 90 days later writing this review on my new (old) computer.
I highly, HIGHLY recommend this place as their dedication got me to where I am right now, and I could not be happier with their service. 10/10, I will go there again. They resurrected my computer form the dead, they are the true miracle workers in the...
Read moreI came to this place because my boyfriend got his PC fixed here with no problems. I have a MacBook Pro, and the screen was turning black after it running for a couple of minutes. I came in, told them what was happening, and they said they would get back to me within 3-5 business days after paying $50. On the 6th business day, we called since we hadn't heard from them. They were confused about what we wanted fixed, and then said they "messed with" my computer for a while, and it was working perfectly fine. They offered to charge me more and redownload MacOs (which was not needed for my issue), I declined. We went in the next day to pick it up. When doing that, there was a second $50 charge on my invoice, and the employee was confused about it, and I was confused because the charge wasn't showing up on my card either. They blew off the random charge, saying they would refund me if it went through. But, of course, when I got home and started using my computer, the screen went black again within 10 minutes of me using it. I decided to take it to another computer repair, since this place was so disorganized, and clearly didn't "mess with" my computer enough to find or solve the issue. The next place I took my computer to got back to me within two hours saying I needed a new display. Got it ordered and fixed within 4 days and only paid $99 for the service, and my computer has been working perfectly fine since. I don't know if this place was just experiencing a little hiccup in organization, or if it was because I was a woman coming into their store with an Apple product- which I feel like is the case because their costumer service was perfect when my boyfriend took his PC there- but it was a huge waste of my time and money. They did not take me and my issue serious, and pocketed my $50 after doing nothing to properly figure out my display was needing to...
