I went with friends to this restaurant that none of us had been to before. They have a limited menu, but it didn't matter, because as a steak house, it's the steak that's important. Even though someone got that cod and someone else got the leg of lamb (which they both enjoyed), the rest of us savored the steak! My boyfriend and I had an absolutely delicious meal! I had the steak on a stone, which was truly the best experience to have the steak cooked directly in front of you and have it taste just as juiciest having it cooked behind the scenes was amazing! My boyfriend had the haddock and he said it was absolutely delicious. It was tender and super fresh. The vegetables that came along with it were so amazing. There was nothing I wanted more! Went to Cavaleiro's hoping to find authentic homemade Portuguese food with coworkers and was not disappointed. The steak on a stone "Bife na Pedra" was delicious, perfectly seasoned and with great sides and sauces. Not to mention the one and only Sagres beer and the delicious dessert, pudim flan. The Cavaleiro family and chef were extremely friendly and made me feel like I was back at home in Portugal.
