The owners of this Vietnamese fast food have no values and respect for their paying customers. They sell outdate and left over food, we try to give them the benefit of the doubt and politely notified them of our experience buying almost 100$ worth food/spring rolls. She accuse me for not asking if their food is fresh or leftover from other days and it’s our fault for not knowing and ask. Funny thing is when we called, she lied and said everything is made fresh, after asking why the food is hard/stale and not edible, her response now changed and told us what’s in the fridge is not fresh. She hung up the phone and would not pick up the phone when we try calling.
We went later and brought the food back and ask the younger girl/owner who rang me up to feel and see how hard the food she was selling. She refuse to even look at the food and tell me to take it away.. She became irritated, offended and confrontational. She said we should know better that everything in the fridge is not fresh.
This place will rip you off, no prices on their products and if they think you are a new customer they will ring you up and over charge you.
You have been warned when you walk in, you will see signs all over the place stating “All Sales Final and No Refund” Now I know the reasons why they need to post that notice. Even though they know the food is stale and not edible, they refuse to give us a refund.
Do yourself a favor and take your money and business somewhere else where they will value and appreciate you as a custom.
If you want poor customer service and left over product, this is the...
Read moreVery clean shop. I have been going here since they had the 1st one opened before moving to the new location on grand street and it was a little gem. The banh mi sandwiches and bubble teas are great. The egg rolls are overpriced but the flavor has gotten better, before they seemed a little bland. I was charged 5cents tax on them last week which was disappointing. They are already 0.75 each, so 0.80 with tax? That confused me as I have always just paid the 0.75 before which is high enough for 1 egg roll. I was digging for another nickle for a good minute. Had I not had it, I feel like I would have been turned away as I said 2x that I think I only have the 0.75 cents on me but the woman insisted that she needed 0.05 cents more. I was a little embarrassed. Luckily I found a nickle. Other than that the other food and snacks are good, but high prices. They seem to have gone up in price overall which I understand for a small family business but some things are just REALLY overpriced in my opinion. Most of the workers seem pretty friendly and happy to help. Finding little special desserts around the holidays is always nice too. Lines can get long around lunch, which make the bathrooms a plus for a little place with no seating. This isnt dine in, it's basically pick up and go so the bathrooms are a nice curtesy. Definitely...
Read moreThey opened saigon sandwiches down the street which is way better. Over here at hong cuc I used to have relationship with daughter and brother. The brother and i used to be close so they used to tell me the secrets. They are racist against khmer so when they see them they talk bad about them in viet saying how they betrayed their own kind (khmer) seeing they have a sandwich shop next door in the cambodian plaza. They make racist remarks calling them "dirty." which most reviews that say they are rude is from khmer community. Second the spring rolls are old sometimes because when they don't sell they refrigerate them for the next day and they refry any unsold eggrolls. They also charge you more through card but you wont notice until your statements. Not cool to pinch a couple cents at everyone paying with cards. They hate that us Americans don't carry cash so they penalize us for it. Other than that i still like the beef sandwiches. But not the pork meat one. They hate customers but they love money but they are also rude when you ask for an extra bag or napkins. Quite frankly in american business we love our customers as much as we...
