Setting was around 4-5pm, only two customers in front of us working with the older women, so not busy at all. Walked in, said hi, old man gave us a cold blank stare. I didn’t catch it but my girl did. I went to look at a bracelet for a family member since we don’t travel to Lowell often, she wanted to know a price so he can save for it for her daughter. Since I was in Lowell, might as well stop by and do that for her. SO as the old man is helping me, I ask to see this and then another one- I kept it short because I don’t like to bother people too much. Know what I want and get out. My girl notices that he was rude as he’s throwing the jewelry on the glass like he was annoyed when I asked to look at two things. Mind you I have a positive well mannered demeanor so I honestly don’t get the rudeness and impatienceness. Maybe because I’m young or look young but is this how you, as an older folk treat people? Anyways I finish getting details for my family member. He walks away frustrated like I wasted his time…basically no one has the option of window shopping peacefully here-not everyone is able to throw money around, people actually work hard to save up for big purchases but ok they probably deal with old folks that have stacks of cash so I was just another straggler I guess. Other than that I also wanted to have them fix my own necklace, his wife comes over and says she’s going to help me….yeah he definitely said something for her to take over. She was sweet and helped. But in no shape or form I was rude, annoying, difficult, or anything that would cause that rude old man to act like that. It makes the statement so true in my eyes where this is the reason why Khmer folks most times do not support other Khmer folks because we do not deal with bad energy like that and so on. I was raised to be kind and as a Buddhist - I’m sure they’re Buddhist too because I saw some protection spells around their shop but yeah thats energy you want to put into the world. I’ve come here before when I’ve seen their oldest daughters work- they are extremely kind, patient, and very helpful. I’d honestly would like to spend my money when I guess their daughters are working. In the end, as dramatic as it sounds, I did not feel welcomed, I felt like a little kid again where I wasn’t good enough. My advice, if you plan to buy something bring an old folk with you and someone that speaks Khmer. That’s a shame how poorly some people treat you and that’s not our culture. Remember this: Khmer folks are nice to other cultures but not nice to each other most times. & lots of Khmer folks don’t support other khmer folks and this is just one...
Read moreI usually am not the type to do bad reviews and let it things go but I had to write this one. I went in last night to stop by before grabbing some food. I just got engaged and my ring size was a bit too big. So we had asked how much it was to get to resize and the guy said a price and we were surprised how cheap it was so we had him take the ring and resized it while we wait. When we got the ring back, I was almost shocked he made it fit perfectly and so I didn’t look in details how the ring was after. We paid and left to go eat. It wasn’t until we were ordering food I had take off the ring and realized how much indent the guy had made on the band. It was damaged and scratches and marks on the band. I showed my fiancé and he said it’s ok he will get me a new band. But that’s not the point. It’s sentimental to me and I should have checked it out while we were there but to realize no matter how much the cost was I was willing to pay to have it resized but to have someone ruin it and not even polish it smoothly was a big disappointment. All of the engravements were gone and it’s just disappointing. I guess you get...
Read moreI found this shop by sheer luck when browsing "24K gold chains" on YouTube and I'm glad I did. There is a vast selection of 24K pieces for all budgets. The salespeople were friendly, and the transaction was prompt.
The prices here are exceptional, and if you're in the area (even a 2-hour drive) you should check this place out.
While I was waiting to be rung up they cleaned the pieces I was wearing for the day and put my existing pendant on the new chain. Overall, I was very satisfied with this first experience and will return in the future.
When you're done with your purchase stop by next door for a meal...
