I don’t know if I’d ever have ended up here, except that my mother was admitted to the hospital, it was late til we got her settled in, hadn’t eaten, and were looking for someplace nearby that was open all night. It, as far as I can tell, is on the way to absolutely nowhere. That having been said, this place is an absolute gem! The clean black-and-white 1950s styling was really charming! The menu is quirky and fun, and the food was fantastic, especially for the extremely reasonable price! And it was very well prepared. I always watch to see if a restaurant is able to do simple things well. And a great way to check that is to get breakfast. If someone can cook eggs over easy and hashbrowns well, it’s my guess that they’re going to have enough attention to detail and enough skills to cook pretty much anything well, and that was my experience here. The eggs were absolutely perfect. The hashbrowns were crispy without being overdone, and the whole thing was served graciously. There’s a fine line that a server needs to tread. They need to be attentive and courteous without being overly so and thereby making themselves a nuisance. And this gentleman, who, by the way, was the only person on staff at that point, showed himself to be excellent in maintaining that balance. Overall, I absolutely love the place! By all means, take a trip to the middle of nowhere, and enjoy one of the best diners I’ve ever experienced!

I've been a regular customer of Track's End for at least 12 years. Last night, I brought in a party of six adults. My order was for 12 wings for $16.99, I asked for 2 different flavors - as I've been doing for many years. When I got the bill I was charged for 2 orders of 6 wings for $11.99 each. I brought this error to the attention of Cyndi and she very tersely told me that this is the "new rule" and that's now how it's done when you want two flavors on a dozen wings. When I placed the order, I was not informed of this "new rule" and nowhere on the menu or the boards was this "new rule" mentioned, it was just placed on on my bill in hopes that I didn't notice. For those keeping score: that's a $6 surcharge on a pricey dozen of wings for a second flavor or $24 for a dozen wings!! For comparison, Three Pines does two flavors on a dozen for free and 50 cents for a third flavor. Track End always did the second flavor for free until this "new rule" began. The food is always great here - but I guess since I'm not a railroader I sometimes get 3rd rate service. I was treated like a fool and as the saying goes: "fool me once…

We decided to try something new tonight, I think it was a great idea! They weren't very busy when we arrived. We started out with an appetizer, their 3 sampler. We had mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and the loaded baked potatoes. I really enjoyed all but the mozzarella sticks, they were just like everyone elses. As for dinner, we ordered the kids cheeseburger meal and upgraded to waffle fries, the conductor burger (it's a double cheeseburger!), and the open face roast beef sandwich and upgraded to mashed potatoes. All meals were very hot and delicious. The ladies were really great with the service. Also, for those that like to eat breakfast all day, they will serve it to you! You can tell they appreciate their restaurant because you can smell how clean it is! We will be going back!

So, Went to this place about a year ago....was dead empty...walked in waited a loooong time to be greeted(seat urself). Longer wait to get drinks on a hot summer day....the food was decent, service questionable. Today? Well we never made it to the food due to a rude in attentintive server and staff over all. Walked in to 1 table filled w 5, which was completely done w To go boxes filled n all. Server was def Sorta slow to greet again. Yet, another employee/manager looking(she did some regisyer things)stood at end of bar n was helping gravity hold it there😉😉👀 I Got a coffee, she brought to me a cup from a 2 CUPS LEFT in the canter(yuk n cold). Left it slide, dramk 1/2. Now keep in mind, our food was the only food in the kitchen yet,as no other tables which had filled after we sat, had orders in. I watched as they cooked her waffle done n set it on the window. THEN started cracking eggs n doin toast and home fries, that waffle sat there for 5 minutes PLUS waiting on mere eggs toast n home fries... AS LUCK WOULD HAVE IT, As she was bringing it all out she dropped the waffle on floor, put the rest of the food on some random counter, touched the floor picking up the waffle(all while 10 feet while gravity lord watched in amazement n did nothing, nor busboy, nor cooks to let her just bring remaining food to us right then... Nope, she disappeared for 2 to 3 minutes in back w waffle, then came back n brought what was left out tp us. said she dropped it and they was making a new one... I smiled, winked n laughingly said, well it worked out cuz that one sat for 5 minutes n was goin back anyhow..firm but not loud nor nasty...I also requested a refill of "hot coffee", out comes the now 1 cups remaining same cold old coffee..by now the restaurant was filling up for early lunch..gravity lady still doin good holding that counter in place...no one helping no one..kitchen suddenly has 3 ppl scrambling(no pun intended) to finish 2 bfast orders...😮 As she came with that empty post sloshing everwhete, politely I covered my cup w my hand n asked for a fresh pot as the last cup was not hot nor good tasting, so I don't expect this one to be better. She went ice cold w attitude...walked off...all was still good at this point tho....no one else heard it, no embarrassment to her,it's HER JOB. nope...nice n loud for all to hear.WELL I DONT KNOW HOW ITS COLD, CANT BE, THE BURNERS ARE ON...🥴she gripes all pissy From 30 feet away... I said I'd like a FRESH HOT CUP OF COFFEE PLZ, if that's too much I'm outta here, n she started running her toothless mouth about stuff didn't matter to this so she got an earful as I and my girl left. She then harassed us by following us out(I left immediately n with no threat or attempt to engage at all, just spoke over my shoulder. She then decided to go grab her camera follow us 40 feet TO MY TRUCK to take my liscense plate to HAVE ME TRESSPASSED... LOL .no worries..I'm actually gonna warn others thru reviews now that that 4.5 stars here is NOT what I seen in 2 visits, 1 year apart. And to the server n gravity lady... first learn to sling hash, then your manager can learn to move off her Meester n help a struggling employee out, n then maybe go to legal school n learn about assault/harrassmrnt(following someone who disengaged constitutes assault) battery would be if there's contact of person OR PROPERTY. Her threats of arrest n such were legal by first ammendment prtection, as were my commemts to her..but she made a bad look on TRACKS END RETSUARANT in mech near Weiss. Food LOOKED GOOD THO hence the 3 stars...lazy employees w no one COVERING the other...she was struggling n embarrassed prolly, but it's her job n the...

4 months later, I am writing again. Everything below the line is from before the New Year. I changed my review to 5 stars. I wanted to say we all worked it out. I was treated well with the feel of diner culture in small town America. I left Pennsylvania to fulfill a contract as a yoga retreat teacher in Turks and Caicos back in December 2022. There was a brief 10 days in January 2023 to return for wrapping up loose ends before returning to the island in the Carribean. Regrettably, I could not make my way back during those 10 days, and while on the Island, my next step will be the West Coast. It is likely I will never make my way back.. They remain in my heart... and Beautiful Barbie.

I wrote the below paragraph a few weeks ago. Since then Antoine, the one who runs the place, explained that I was dealing with Braden (day time supervisor). I moved my rating to 4 star since Antoine was reassuring me that I am fine to do what I do there. I will bring it to 5 star if I don’t have any Braden issues while dining there again. There are not too many diners around these days. I would say that this is the last of the diners in the area. Atleast one that is 24 hours open.

Today I dealt with a rude spineless man who works there. I had a fantastic time dining before. The last 24 hours I have been in the middle of filing taxes due in less than 24 hours.. Since I required to be on and of corresponding to accountants in another time zone I came to tracks end a 24 hour establishment to make use of the good comfort food and fast internet through this challenging time. I made it clear to every staff member while there I had to do this and if it was OK. Every staff member was inviting and completely made me feel at home. Then I came across this man who told me I shall not cone and use this place as an office. It is a 24 hour diner with internet for guests. Every time I was in there I ordered food and tipped the staff.. I also was within my table/ booth along with the other tables being most empty. So I never blocked business. Whoever this man is is a very crude man and unreflective of the kind staff that is there. He refused to give me his name. For this reason i gave a 1 star rating until the matter is resolved. Even if he is the owner he is...
