Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Lower Burrell

Rarely ever do I have a problem with this store. But I just placed a delivery order through the app. I forgot to add a tip, so I called the store and had them had over a 20% tip to the order.

We had clear instructions that we wanted NO CONTACT. leave the food on the front porch and not to knock (hubby and i have covid and are quarentining, we also have dogs and a new born.)

The guy who delivered our food sat in our driveway while I'm standing there waiting for him to leave. The guy would not leave. Came to the door again and my husband had to go out and get the food from the guy. I highly recommend whoever delivered our food get covid tested since he could not follow directions and came in direct contact with someone who is covid positive.

I called the store back to ask them to remove the tip. They never added the tip on anyway so atleast there's that.

Please have your employee get tested. And please make that during a pandemic they are following customer instructions. No contact is NO CONTACT. We have cameras, we see the food, just drop it and go.

And lastly, i did not receive the extra pizza...

Ordered online and my wife decided to be nice and pay with her card but I wanted to give the tip with cash since I always tip very generously. And shortly after I placed my order with no tip on the card since giving cash tip (usually minimum 9 to 11 dollar tip every time) I received a text almost right away saying no tip= all leg action 🤣 from the driver since they thought I wasn't going to tip so I replied I was going to be giving a cash tip not on the card that my wife paid with but since them being ignorant and I have a feeling they would mess with my stuff since they already where brave enough to text me that I was goung to cancel. And when I called the store to cancel yhe person at the store was like ok and could care less how I was treated. So I will most likely never order...

I give the Tarentum road Papa John's only 1 star. They no longer have the local workers taking your order by phone. The man I spoke with was hard to understand and he was very confused with the directions I tried giving him several times for my delivery. The thing that also upset me was, I told him I was paying with cash. He insisted I used a card to pay for my order. Again, I told him "I NEED to pay with cash". His tone let me know he was not happy.
