Worst customer service and restaurant experience of my life. The host/server was a middle aged Korean man that repeatedly eyed our table down. As we were seated, he began to place most of the side dishes and proceeded to smell the spoiled bean sprouts twice in front of us and took it back to the kitchen. The server kept leaving the restaurant and would abnormally rush our table into ordering. The restaurant had little to no ventilation and the server only changed the grill once it completely hotboxed the restaurant. The server had no patience while we were deciding what to order. The food was okay. Only good beef options. The service made us lose our appetite. Once we were ready to go, the server asked “Was the food wonderful?” in a lighthearted manner. It was the only positive interaction we have had with that man, and of course, I replied “Yes, it was” respectfully. After we paid, the server made sure to look at the receipt and demanded for more tip. He said, “It’s not enough. At least 18%.” I have never had a server openly demanding for more tip, despite the lack of service we experienced. I had a confused look on my face as I looked through the receipts to find where it says any tip requirements only to find the words “Suggested Tip.” Therefore, it is suggested as a form of gratitude. All of the gratitude left my body since the beginning of this experience. The server came back and pointed out this section of the receipt then took the check back and forth until we tipped more.

Read moreThey just added a $25 all you can eat kbbq special here and I wanted to try it out with some friends. The owner was the only one serving, bringing out food and conversing with everybody in the restaurant and he was so pleasant no matter how busy it was! Compared to other kbbq/hotpot chains, the variety of meats and vegetables were lacking but it makes up for it in quality of meat and the few noodle dishes that they offer in the AYCE special and especially the inviting attitude of the owner made the food taste even better! Filet mignon just melts in your mouth. Slap that on a piece of green lettuce, slather it in that homemade beanpaste and shove it in your mouth. Love that the soondubu is not that spicy and its filled with soft tofu. He kept on bringing us his own recommendations and I really appreciate his efforts to speak to every customer and still find time to take orders, answer the phone and greet everybody who walks in. I would definitely come here again just for the owner and of course, the food here...
Read moreWaiter was basically nonexistent and literally never said a word to us. He would consistently go missing and it was hard enough to try to flag him down to come to our table. The kid was so focused on the table behind us. We were never given all the items we asked for after each round of meat, we would ask for sides as well as onions and mushrooms. He only brought them out once. He never even brought us our check either. The kid did however give the people behind us their check before they were even finished. I had to go up to pay and he didn't even say a word the whole time. The person I was with told him to have a good day and all he said was "yup". We were there for over two hours only because our waiter was busy sitting on his phone at the desk, or was nowhere to be found. The absolute worst service I've ever had at a place like this. I will never be coming back here and I will tell everyone I know NEVER to go here. I feel it's completely disrespectful to the customers to...
